Celebrating Economy at the Living Observance Level

Deities have forever been an important feature of Afrikan life. Personified attributes of the Creator Supreme in spiritual conception, deities energise Afrikan souls through their specialised functionsas is the case with deities of the ancient trinity Ausar, Auset and Heru. As with other areas of Afrikan life economic functioning has its specialist deities :

The powerful deity of Olokun is a wealth bringer. His name is derived a combination of two words, Olohun meaning ‘owner’ and ‘okun’ meaning ‘ocean’.  His association with the deepest depths of abundant life giving, life sustaining and life elevating waters of creation is profound. As it is with the waters so too does the Afrikan economic thrust provide for life’s worldly sustenance and ascension. Ownership is key in this  for the Afrikan souls must surely ultimately own, control and secure their own economic endeavours  for self-betterment of their nation. This is Afrikan economic masculinity deified.

The powerful deity of Osun is a wealth bringer. Her name means ‘a source’ or to ‘seep out’. Osun is a source of nurturing, elegance, grace, fertility and she expresses superlative natural beauty. As with Olokun she is concerned with life giving and life sustaining forces. She is ordered and powerfully enriches the nation binding it with togetherness for ascension. Her qualities lift Afrikan souls to the pinnacle heights their natural beautifulness. The flourishing Afrikan economy is a phenomenon of beauty as it is expressed by a people of superlative natural beauty. Afrikan souls in cooperativeness and in safeguarding of their natural selves and way cultivate economic excellence in thrust of nationhood. This is Afrikan economic femininity deified.

The powerful pantheon of Afrikan deities are with the Afrikan for the pinnacle elevation of Afrikan life. Afrikan souls must purge themselves of the ills of alien ill impositions. The alien contaminates of misandry and misogyny are examples of destructive vices to be expelled.

Wonderfully, Afrikan souls are restoring their own way of life and rightfully engaging in self-determined ascension though the re-establishment of Afrikan economic functioning. The deities of the Afrikan pantheon such as Olokun and Osun are eternal, they never cease to be, they simply  need to be called upon to energise the soul.

Ujamaa Kiburi Siku is a wonderful part of the spiritual-cultural observance calendar of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation. It takes place in the first week of June marking the time of significant occurrence both on the continent of Afrika and in the diaspora concerning Afrikan economy. Ujamaa Kiburi Siku as with the other observances on the Afrikan cultural calendar is just that – an observance. Therefore, wherever the Afrikan is whether at home, at a community gathering or elsewhere it can be observed.
