Celebrating the Great Marcus Garvey and the Garvey Movement

The Creator Supreme blessed Afrikan souls with the grand
blessing of abundant life. So much so, that this primary and spirit people of Creation
carry a profound depth of substance beyond the physical that never ceases to
be. In this, the living knowingness of the Afrikan self is a constant developing
flow of wisdom-filled life engagement. For Afrikan life is energised by its spirit
core and outwardly expressed in physical engagements of natural excellence. The
natural direction of all Afrikan life is ascension. ‘To rise above…negative tendencies’
and realise fullest capability and fullest potential is rightful order that has
been with the Afrikan from the earliest times and has produced the greatest
most long-lasting civilisations that the world has come to know. Of course, optimally functioning institutions
of the Afrikan person self, the harmonious and complimentary Afrikan male-female
union, the Afrikan family, the Afrikan community and the Afrikan nation are imperative vehicles by
which fullest flourishing for the growth, maintenance and ascension of
civilisation are realised.
Unfortunately, the interruptions and disruptions of recent centuries by others that mean the Afrikan ill has unleashed a barrage of anti-Afrikan life vices. Natural and progressive self-determined life advancing, life enhancing conception and expression of Afrikan souls has come under attack. The progressive thinker Ahmose (a.k.a. Amos) Wilson describes the dire alien anti-life imposition, manifesting itself as self-hate in Afrikan relations with each other:
“The death instinct expresses itself in terms of hate. That’s an expression of death. When you hate somebody you often want to do what? You want to kill them, you want to destroy them, hurt them, make them feel pain. So death comes through you onto the other individual you see. Resentment is an expression of the death instinct. Hostility, hostile aggression, retarding other people’s growth and development, what we call dis-enhancement. Just as love leads to enhancement, hatred leads to enhancement, hatred leads to dis-enhancement. Just as love leads to harmony, hatred leads to disharmony. Just as love leads to growth by the person you’re dealing with - hate leads to restriction, holding them back”
Both the alien contaminates of misandry and misogyny are forms of self-hatred that if allowed to present themselves in Afrikan life are of the ‘death instinct’, as is the alien contaminate of feminism. This, ‘death instinct’ has in some cases been grotesquely amplified in various interactions or types of relations Afrikan have with each other resulting in some horrendous consequences. New media technologies can be used as tools to protect a progress message or as tools to exacerbate the ills of self-destruction.
In an articulation directed to Afrikan souls that are seemingly ‘conscious’ of themselves, the supreme visionary Marcus Garvey articulated the following:
“The [Afrikan’s] present position is not caused through the lack of effort on his behalf to stir him to a consciousness of himself, but seems to be due to his mass inertia and incapability to appreciate his serious position and to hold fast to those necessary principles that would extricate his from his difficulties”.
Honouring and celebrating the great Marcus Garvey is to learn from and imbibe the spirit of this superlative Afrikan man. Garvey, was not consumed with jealousy, Garvey did not ever throw his people ‘under the bus’, Garvey was not a wreckless warmonger, the Garvey spirit repels the ‘death instinct’. Marcus Garvey built for Afrikan souls and inspired Afrikan souls to build for themselves in thrust of nationhood safeguarding the mission as necessary. Attempts to to crush, bring down, malign, thwart or otherwise disrupt rightful progress of Afrikan souls and those making genuine effort to bring about imperative transformation for Afrikan ascension is fulfilment of self-destruction and the ‘death instinct’. Racial suicide can take a number of different forms and if the Afrikan is consumed with alien ills enough to refuse to build (or assist in building) in any way shape or outright become a saboteur to destroy progressive building effort, has the influence of the ‘death instinct’ been revealed?
Afrikan souls must surely ascend to living for their fullest flourishing with integrity, dignity and purposeful mission of ascension. Garvey left Afrikans of world with explicit wisdom instruction:
“Rise ye mighty people, you can accomplish what you will!”
