Celebrating the Wonderful Observance of Kwanzaa

For Afrikan souls their culture is core substance of life. Throughout
the ages this primary people never considered their culture to be an aesthetic ‘switch’
to turn on or off at the behest of a whim or fancy. It is necessarily constant core
flow. Considering the word culture and the word civilisation as
interchangeable, it would be nonsensical to conceive of turning off being
civilised. Indeed, Afrikan people have lived the highest forms of civilisation
known to the world as their natural norm. This means that Afrikan people live according
to the highest culture. Or, to put it another way, live at the pinnacle level
of being civilised.
With the interruption and disruptions of the Maafa of recent centuries much damage has been caused to the functional Afrikan natural norm. Despite this, Afrikan souls have taken the necessary forthright, bold and courageous responsibility to restore their own cultural fabric to their lives. The wonderful observance of Kwanzaa and its core principles of the Nguzo Saba is a superlative example of brilliancy in restoration, recovery and elevation. Throughout the world Afrikan community Afrikan souls have ready access to their own culture. And though the magnificent seven-day period comes to a close on January 1st the essence of Kwanzaa continues throughout the annual cycle especially in relation to the Nguzo Saba.
In the closing of the seven-day Kwanzaa season, the Tamshi la Tutaonana (Farewell Statement) can be expressed and can be articulated as follows:
Strive for discipline, dedication and achievement in all you do. Dare fight for freedom and sacrifice and gain strength that comes from this. Build where you are and dare leave a legacy that will last as long as the sun shines and the waters flow. Practice daily Umoja, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Ujamaa, Nia, Kuumba and Imani. And may the wisdom of our Great Ancestors always walk with us. May the year’s end meet us laughing and stronger. May our children honour us by following our example in love and the fight for freedom. And at the end of this year, may we sit again together, in larger numbers, with greater achievement and closer to liberty and the highest level of Afrikan life.
Victoriously, Afrikan cultured living can again flourish throughout the Afrikan world with living knowingness of self and bringing to the fore the inherent oneness of being that Afrikan people naturally hold with each other.
