Remembering a Great Hero

Logically and well-known is the truism
that building throughout its various forms requires a foundation from which
construction can be elevated. Of course, characteristics such as the quality
and strength at the base level determines the success, fortitude and endurance of
any potential structures erected. This may be readily understood in relation to
(say) the erection of a physical architectural endeavour. Accordingly, a contemporary
mainstream source offers the following definition of the word foundation:
“the base on which something stands. the act of founding or establishing or the state of being founded or established”.
Of course, Afrikan souls throughout the ages have delivered a vast array of superb architectural masterpieces. Yet, what does the foundation of civilisation itself look like for its construction? Certainly, this primary people of creation are the primary and exemplary resource of knowing for themselves. For, it is these souls that pioneeringly brought civilisation into being and delivered its most magnificent and enduring examples. Herein, lies the important directive of self-knowingness which surely forms an imperative part of this soul people’s highly civilised norm.
Unfortunately, in a state of interruption and disruption Afrikan souls may become disconnected from their basic foundations of knowingness and highly civilised normality. If shoehorned into being the subjects of destructive vices by others that mean the Afrikan ill, souls can be rendered perpetually non-constructive (or worse) in regards to Afrikan betterment at the level of foundation and otherwise. Indeed, severed from their own foundations of primary strength other seemingly ‘constructive’ attempts can be exceedingly weak and fragile to state the least.
Whether Afrikan souls are located here, there or elsewhere, deficit in having their functional norm of a self-determined civilised foundation is dire. Therefore, wherever located - and from whatever station, level or status – this soul people surely ought to apply themselves to constructive effort for their ascension of rightful order. The core foundations of upright living are not bound to any geographical space and naturally remain steadfast from one generation to the next. Thus, building is not the preserve of a set of Afrikans here and not of a set of Afrikans there. Rather, foundational strength and fortitude and onward construction is surely imperative thrust wherever the Afrikan stands. Indeed, upright construction here and upright construction there, bolsters Afrikan life as a whole when naturally steeped in a level of self-knowingness.
The great hero Omowale Malcolm X beautifully and succinctly highlights the building of civilisation thus:
“It was your grandfather’s hands who forged civilisation and it was your grandmother’s hands who rocked the cradle of civilisation”.
These deeply insightful words surely point out the responsibility and duty that Afrikan souls have to themselves wherever located. After all, civilisation is not a phenomenon of happenstance.
