Remembering a Great Hero

For Afrikan souls to have produced their excellent forms of self-governance necessary for directing the greatest and most enduring civilisations ever to have been built, they had to have held a level of knowledge of governance. In any given present, Afrikan souls could draw upon the wisdom of their self-governing past as well as establishing optimal self-governance in their present – which in turn would be set to inform their future generations in the application of self-governance in the tomorrows to come. With this, Afrikan souls brilliantly directed and managed their necessary and highly civilised constructions in whatever location they determined themselves to be.

In the contemporary era the term political history may provide some use in identifying the continual flow of governance history. A contemporary mainstream source describes political history in the following way:

“Political history is the narrative and survey of political events, ideas, movements, organs of government, voters, parties and leaders. It is closely related to other fields of history, including diplomatic history, constitutional history, social history, people's history, and public history”.

Unfortunately, in a state of interruption and disruption, Afrikan people can be denied their history in general let alone the strands considered to be political history. Others that mean the Afrikan ill, may attempt to project their history and their political history as the only (and universal) history that exists. Were such disorder allowed to become all-consuming and absolute, the Afrikan could be bogusly cast outside of the history of self and become grotesquely enslaved to only being aware of the achievements of others. Self-denial and a host of erroneous pseudo-identities could end up becoming the dysfunctional result.

The natural continuum and brilliancy of the Afrikan self-governing norm is to be restored and not have its imposed exile perpetually accepted or embraced. Only Afrikan souls can bring this about for themselves with the recovery of appropriate levels of self-knowingness and cultured living. Each soul regardless of geographical location, status, station or level can make a step in this regard and put their shoulder to the wheel of upright construction for the betterment of Afrikan souls.

The great hero Omowale Malcolm X with his exceptional analytical prowess highlights the importance of Afrikan heroes and an aspect of political history concerning the territorial expanse of present-day America:

“when you select heroes about which Black people ought to be taught, let them be Black heroes who have died fighting for the benefit of Black people. We never were taught about Christophe or Dessalines. It was the slave revolt in Haiti when slaves, Black slaves, had the soldiers of Napoleon tied down and forced him to sell one-half of the American continent to the Americans. They don’t teach us that. This is the kind of history we want to learn”.

The grand Afrikan civilisations of yesteryear provide a vast wealth of knowledge regarding the Afrikan self-governing norm. This is grand inheritance for Afrikans to claim wherever they are located in the now. From essential lessons can come the return of the Afrikan constructive norm. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
