Remembering a Great Hero

What is that Afrikan people do for themselves in the present that is upright and purposeful for themselves and their constructive ascension? If this were a question, that was asked during a time of their fully flourishing norm, the answer would be obviously expressed in their establishment of pinnacle civilisation. Indeed, in the then, the question itself would have been redundant, from the readily observable reality of things. Yet in a state of interruption and disruption such a question may carry more validity because Afrikan souls have been imposed upon and less-than optimal conditions may prevail for the Afrikan.

According to a contemporary mainstream source the word purposefully means to do something:

“in a way that shows determination or resolve”.

Despite the destructive impositions of others that mean the Afrikan ill, what if Afrikan souls were to build for themselves in a way that shows determination and resolve? Surely, this would leave little to the imagination if Afrikan souls knew of themselves enough to glean that these were qualities of their constructive norm that brought forth grand civilisations. Here, purposefulness of applied pragmatic function can be determined by eradicating the distance between a state of lowly conditions and a state of optimal flourishing (with optimal flourishing as the goal). Clearly, the Afrikan needs to have some knowledge of what optimality is for the Afrikan. This is where self-knowingness plays a vital role.

This primary people of creation surely have a duty and responsibility to themselves to restore self-knowledge to their lives and build accordingly. It matters not where the Afrikan is located nor, the status, level or station held, steps of upright progress can be made.

The great hero Omowale Malcolm X in his articulation of his deeply meaningful words of wisdom points to necessary levels of knowingness thus:

“know the level civilisation that we started out on and came from”.

If Afrikan souls embark upon restoration of self-knowingness with their development and flourishing of their highly civilised norm, then they can readily identify their standards of optimality and mission to regain them. By converse, if the Afrikan only knows of the standards of deficit pushed and peddled by the plantation or colony then the measure of attainment can suffer acutely. Even what may be perceived as a ‘success’ could be a sign of destruction. So, purposefulness of upright construction is crucial thrust for Afrikan souls to restore their pinnacle norm. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
