The Afrikan is Spirit. The Afrikan is of Water. The Afrikan Flows.

From nothingness apparent to the creation of the world, the Creator Supreme has blessed the Afrikan soul with the eternal flow of life. In the authorship of the sacred universe eloquently scribed with profound tapestry of the divine, the Supreme Being brought forth original waterflow – Nun. The world is of moisture. The earth holds more water on its surface than any other substance as the pool, stream, river and seas flow in oneness of essence. The Afrikan body contains water more so than any other substance. As water flow nurtures and sustains melanated form the assertion of divine interwovenness with the world and creation and everlasting connectivity with the Supreme Being is manifest. Mirroring the magnificence of creation itself, the eternal liquid flow is magnified and ever present in the conception and emergence of new Afrikan life coming forth. The Afrikan is spirit with spirit flow of being giving substance to physical expression of the self. Yet still, physical expression of the  Afrikan self is liquescent in grand symbiotic harmony with the waters of the world. Thus, divine water flow is essential to the eternal flow of the Afrikan life continuum. The deity of water represents the sacred flow of this vital substance and its continual giving, sustaining and nurturing in the spirit people of creation and the wholesome natural world they must safeguard and maintain in her honour. This deity is Yemanja. The wonderful life giving, life nurturing, life sustaining, life protecting deity celebrated during the observance of Yemanja Siku marked by the seventh day of the ninth month of the year.

With the horrific onslaught of foreign enemy forces in the Maafa of recent centuries, Afrikans have been forcibly denied or wickedly coerced away from their natural way of spiritual and cultural living. Foreign contemporary religious doctrines have been brutally imposed from the west, further east (or wherever) with the foul intent to subdue, conquer, control and dominate the marvellous spirit people of creation. The barbarous foreign vagabond knew that void of their own ways the soul people would be weakened. The divine water flow of the world was cursed with evil alien baptisms as the demonic pirate vessels of doom and genocide plagued the seas with the criminal mission of kidnapping Afrikan victims to be seized into hell. Acts of sacrilegious abomination against the eternal liquid flow of creation became a torrent as the savage alien spilled sacred Afrikan blood throughout the fields of his terror plantations and the lands he has terrorised with colonisation. It is an abominable disgrace that the foreign genocidal onslaught continues as Afrikan life is set upon by the alien brute whether dressed up in the uniform of the white sheet, dressed up in the uniform of his alien government with badge and handcuffs, dressed up in his straight-jacket (suit) and noose (tie) or otherwise.  The slaughter of Afrikan souls, the spillage of sacred Afrikan blood must be brought to immediate halt.

Victoriously, and despite the severe disruptions of the Maafa, the marvellous Afrikan souls of the world have remembered their natural way of life and continue to restore their spiritual and cultural flow. The celebration of Yemanja reflects this essential process of restoration. It energises the spirit people of creation with the spiritual and cultural nutrients that have been with the Afrikan soul from the beginning.

In honouring and celebrating Yemanja the Afrikan enlivens and brings to the fore that which ethereally nurtures, sustains and protects the soul people of the world. Life is then enriched as the wonderful Afrikan soul imperatively and responsibly brings ethereal substance into holistic fruition with physical manifestations.

Thus, Yemanja, an eternal force of Afrikan life giving and well-being magnificence, is far from being some disconnected abstract notion of static redundancy of some Afrikan past lied upon by the wicked foreign pirate in his barrage of anti-Afrikan propaganda.

Yemanja is magnificent and powerful for she is of and for the most magnificent and naturally powerful people of the world – the wonderful Afrikan. Yemanja flows throughout the world and flows throughout the Afrikan.

Indeed, in honouring and celebrating Yemanja, the Afrikan celebrates life itself from creation into the eternal upward thrust of the Afrikan continuum. Yemanja holds the divine water womb of the Afrikan soul the aspect of the Creator Supreme through which life comes.

The Afrikan is spirit. The Afrikan is of water. The Afrikan flows.

The observance of Yemanja Siku is marked by the seventh day of ninth month (so-called September) with celebrations taking place on Sunday 7th or nearest Sunday to that date.
