Celebrating Afrikan Liberators, Liberation and Liberty

As with the other areas of Afrikan
life, the process of liberation is rooted with core spirit energy. It is a
process of engagement and necessarily of spirit engagement for spirit is core
to Afrikan life. It is a process that has the key component of the Afrikan liberator
who is the engager in the progressive, structured and ordered effort to bring
forth the process result of Afrikan liberty and nationhood. In deity terms,
example engagers are Heru and Ogun who carry the powerful spirit of liberator as manifest in the great hero Omowale Malcolm X. Yet, it is the liberation process and its victorious outcome of liberty that give
meaning and validity to the liberator role. It is why the role necessarily exists.
Therefore, what does the process of liberation consist of in spiritual terms.
In order to examine this the spiritual framework of ASBWOK (Afrikan Spirituality By Way Of Kwanzaa) is a useful guide. As the liberation process in the contemporary period is one in which the generally less-than-optimal state or condition of being for Afrikan souls is transformed into optimality, it is a process of progressive transformation where the states of each level of the Afrikan self can be detailed in terms of the unwanted less-than condition to the condition of optimality thus:
Less than Optimal: |
Optimal: |
Less than optimal person-self
Less than optimal or non-existent male-female relationships
Less than optimal survival units
Less than optimal or fractured community
Less than optimal or non-existent thrust for liberty and nationhood
Less than optimal functioning or denial of the world Afrikan community |
Optimally functional and progressive person-self of liberty and nationhood
Optimally functional and progressive harmonious and complimentary male-female union of liberty and nationhood
Optimally functional and progressive family of liberty and nationhood
Optimally functional and progressive community of liberty and nationhood
Optimally functional and progressive nation of liberty and nationhood
Optimally functional and progressive race of liberty and nationhood |
Of course, this is eternal missioning as the liberation process is not simply about ascension from a less-than optimal state. It is also holds the thrust for maintenance and security of the optimally functioning self. Certainly, the first-port-of-call is weighted towards acquisition.
Afrikan souls must surely lift themselves from the debris of destruction the Maafa of recent centuries unleashed by others that mean the Afrikan ill have caused. With their powerful substance and abundance of spirit flow the Afrikan can apply themselves to the imperative process of their liberation with victorious self-determined missioning to honestly and committedly bring about their own progressive transformation.
The observances of Omowale Malcolm X Siku and Afrika Ukombozi Siku are part of the spiritual and cultural observance calendar of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN). Throughout the year (observance to observance) harmonious complementarity is manifest in the holistic fabric of the whole annual cycle. These two observances relate to each other in a number of special ways. One such way is the emphasis of, and imperative connection of the Afrikan Liberator with the process of Afrikan Liberation. Afrikan souls, being a part of an organ for mission ascendancy is key for both liberator and liberation. The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation is a spiritually and culturally rooted organ for Afrikan ascension.
The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN) is an Afrikan-centred spiritual and cultural mission for ascendancy that embodies living spiritually and culturally rooted life.
