Celebrating Focal Places of Empowerment

If one were – even at a cursory level – take a
glance at the achievements that Afrikan people have made throughout their extensive
history, and ask, ‘What sort of standards generally apply?’, the obvious answer
would surely be, ‘Excellence!’. This pioneering
people in their brilliancy brought forth the greatest and most enduring civilisations
ever to exist. Thus, the standards that were upheld in their lives throughout
its various levels of functioning had to had to have been of pinnacle order.
Steeped in the knowingness of themselves and living their highly civilised norm
the outward expression of superlative civilisation was inevitable flow.
According to a contemporary mainstream source, the term standards development attracts the following meaning:
“Standards development, or standardisation, is the process of arriving at a standard. This process is open, transparent and consensus-based. It takes place in standards committees made up of experts. Standards are thus created in working groups in which specialists within the same field consider a specific subject”.
To relate this meaning specifically to Afrikan souls, a number of adjustments may be deemed apt from which the following can be posited:
“Afrikan standards development, or standardisation for fullest flourishing of Afrikan life, is the process of arriving at a self-determined standard for the betterment, security, integrity and the positive continuity of this primary people. This process is based upon a level of self-knowingness and is open to Afrikan souls themselves. It takes place in spaces determined by Afrikans where standards can be facilitated by Afrikan wisdom guides. Standards are thus created in places designated by soul people in which specialists deemed necessary of and by this soul people hold as core the best interests of their people”.
Unfortunately, in a state of interruption and disruption where Afrikan souls can be destructively set upon by others that mean the Afrikan ill, positive standards amongst Afrikan souls can become skewed to state the least. Plagued with unknowingness of themselves and a barrage of pseudo-standards concocted, pushed and peddled by others, Afrikan souls may end up aspiring to meet a set of ‘standards’ that exclusively serve the best interest of others and are thwarting or harmful to the Afrikan self (throughout its various levels).
Despite the challenges, and in whatever sphere of their own lived expressions, surely Afrikan souls can take substance from the adjusted meaning (given above) and apply it to their lives accordingly. For, only Afrikan souls themselves can define and effect the standards that facilitate their optimal ascension of rightful order. At the same time, Afrikan souls can do themselves a great service in safeguarding themselves against any onslaught of destructive pseudo-standards that may rear its ugly head. From whatever station, level or status souls can make positive steps of progress in this regard. In this, it matters not whether the Afrikan is here, there or elsewhere, the standards of their civilisation surely ought to prevail. Indeed, the grand phenomenon of civilisation itself is not of happenstance.
