Utterance from this supreme visionary

“[This organisation] in inspiring you to imitate not the deeds of the white man, but to accomplish over again the deeds of your [great ancestors]. You have accomplished them once already, you can do it again, and I do hope that this will be an inspiration to some [Afrikan] man or woman to some [Afrikan] boy or girl to go through the world accomplishing something grand and great…Can I repeat: ‘Afrika has produced countless numbers of men and women whose lustre and bravery outshone that of any other peoples; Therefore look to the colours of the Race; look to the colours of the [Afrikan] for your inspirations; look to the colours of that great Empire of [Afrika] that is now scattered all over the world; select our leaders from out of our own race; and not from the other races because others look down upon us contemptuously and scornfully when we have to follow them”.
