Utterance from this supreme visionary

“So [Afrikans], I say, through [this organisation] that there is much to live for. I have a vision of the future, and I see before me a picture of a redeemed Afrika, with her dotted cities, with her beautiful civilisation, with her millions of happy children, going to and fro. Why should I lose hope, why should I give up and take a back place in this age of progress! Remember that you are [Afrikans], that [the Creator Supreme] created you [monarchs] of this creation. Lift up yourselves, [Afrikans], take yourselves out of the mire and hitch your hopes to the stars; yes, rise as high as the very stars themselves. Let no [alien] pull you down, let no [alien] destroy your ambition, because [the alien is not] your companion, [nor] your equal; [the alien] is [not] your brother; he is not your lord; he is not your sovereign master…In the days to come, and I believe not far distant, Afrika shall reflect a splendid demonstration of the worth of the [Afrikan], to set himself [and herself] free and to establish a government of his [and her] own”.
