Celebration of First Fruits

The following is an account taken from the important text: From Pert-En-Min to Kwanzaa – The Kuumba (Creative) Restoration of Sacred First Fruits. It includes quotations from an Afrikan wisdom guide:

“Afrikan people are without doubt a sacred people. The Afrikan is the first of Creation, at one with the divine essence of the universe and indeed carries the divinity of self. Supreme divinity has remained with the Afrikan throughout the endless generations emerging from the most expansive human lineage of any people of this world. Of such pinnacle importance is the Afrikan divine status that it has given rise to an unparalleled ethereal thrust of power that has manifest itself in the outward expression of the most supreme forms of civilisation ever created. To the Afrikan, life in the physical is a mere reflection of the ethereal experience – thus the profound and deeply meaningful holistic oneness of self, nature and the universe at large is inevitable.

‘Many centuries ago, even before there were centuries, Afrikan people lived in a divine glory. We were a people of immense strength and endless creativity, during this epoch, all of nature was to us a friend. Everywhere we looked, the trees, the birds, the grass, the waters were all part of us. Through the voice of the Creator, the sages, and the priests, we learned that life would remain full through the practice of rituals, ceremonies and prayers to keep our inner souls lively and united. ‘

The divine connection between all Afrikan people is preserved and given strength through sacred observance and ritual. Celebrating achievement through spirit has (and continues to be) an essential and potent dynamic from which the Afrikan is able to harness the drive to cultivate and release the genius of their maximum capability and highest forms of spiritual ascendancy.

‘Even in our immense diversities of expression, we could see that there was a universal Divine Force common to us all. We saw ourselves as the embodiment of our ancestors and recognised all of our good fortune to be the fruits of our labours. We reserved special holy days to acknowledge our origin and give thanks to the Creator for all of [his/her] blessings. On these special days, songs were sung, stories were told and lessons were taught. These lessons taught the values and customs that sustain and nourish a people’

The divine nature of Afrikan people is reflected throughout Afrikan life. As such, divinity permeates every Afrikan celebration and the celebration of First Fruits is no exception. Further, the Afrikan has the exceptional capability to harness spirit to empower themselves in the physical world and bring progressive meaning to everyday life.

‘Kwanzaa has deep spiritual meanings but it is also [about self-governance]. It is a statement of our self-determination to celebrate our OWN holidays. Black Holy Days that have special meaning to us and won’t leave us bankrupt with the coming of the New Year. The symbols of Kwanzaa all represent things essential to the growth and development of the Afrikan race.’

The Afrikan spiritual essence of Kwanzaa is expressed through the celebration. This powerful and imperative holiday embodies the Afrikan spiritual way that has been with the Afrikan since time immemorial.

‘There is much music, dancing, ritual and sacrament, love and happiness in Afrikan ceremonies. The celebrationof Kwanzaa is the essence of all these Afrikan ceremonies.’”

Unfortunately, alien forces of Anti-Afrikan agency seek to reduce Afrikan life to the incarceration of mere cognisance. The enemy, in his foreign, sterile contemptuous and hostile construct of existence manipulates facts, figures and evidence as a mainstay of functioning in his twisted obsession to dominate the world.  He also seeks to coerce and manipulate the Afrikans outside of themselves to parrot such ills and to become self-destructive agents in the heinous attempt to demolish Afrikan life and the Afrikan spiritual and cultural way. To thwart progressvie Afrikan mission, pit one Afrikan against the next and sit back as the orchestrating spectator rubbing his hands with glee at the success of his fiendish puppeteered results has long been the agenda of alien anti-Afrikan forces.

The marvellous spirit people of Creation are eternally of Ukweli (Truth) and Haki (Righteousness) and as such become evermore heightened in living knowingness. As the Afrikan grows so too does Afrikan spiritual and cultural fabric with love for global self. It is divine organic nature.
