Divinity in the Contemporary World

It is age-old knowing that time is a most precious commodity in its rightful deployment for Afrikan ascension. The building of the Afrikan self from person to nation cannot come about except for the time that is allocation to such purpose. It cannot occur by happenstance. Nor can it happen through a dire deficit in self-knowing. Knowingness necessarily equips the Afrikan to do in an informed way for the benefit of this primary and spirit people of creation.

With the disruption and interruption of the Maafa of recent centuries others that mean the Afrikan ill have sought to hijack and misdirect Afrikan time to suit foreign agendas. Yet still, time is! And it exists for Afrikans to utilise in the self-determined effort of this people’s elevation.

The supreme visionary Marcus Garvey, challenged Afrikan souls to recognise that the importance of Afrikan time. With deep and profound insight this great hero focused Afrikan attention upon the hour that has arrived in the following way:

“Hasn’t the hour come for us to realise the truth surrounding our existence? To me it has surely come, hence it is my duty to urge one and all to a realisation of the same. No longer can we remain inactive and oblivious to all that is around us. Nature never intended a reign of mental stagnation for any people. Man was intended to be a virile, thinking and creative creature. The [Afrikan] is no less a human entity than any other being, and so the responsibility of life falls upon him as exactly and as seriously as it falls upon others. It is for us to become truly conscious of what we are supposed to be and what we are supposed to do. What are we supposed to be? We are supposed to be men of red blood. Men of human thought and spiritual vision. If so, then why not take advantage of the opportunities given to us by God and Nature?”

Surely, Afrikan souls must engage in the recovery of their self-knowingness if they are to make the fullest use of their precious time in service of their own people’s betterment.  Where this soul people have the opportunity to engage in independent programmes of Afrikan-centred learning such as that of Afrikan World Studies, to enrol and complete is to grow. The use of time for victorious endeavours is time that can yield the necessary victories.

The inspiration and wisdom guidance of the great Marcus Garvey is surely mission-compelling for Afrikans worldwide. Here, the imperative thrust of independent learning can be energised throughout the levels of the self:

The person self (for Afrikan masculine manhood) or (for Afrikan feminine womanhood)

The harmonious and complementary Afrikan male-female union

The Afrikan family

The Afrikan community

The Afrikan nation

The  Afrikan world community
