Divinity in the Contemporary World

The natural thrust for the Afrikan
to lift the self throughout its various levels is a natural norm that has been with
this primary people since the beginning. The lifting of the self has
continually been the stuff of not only motivation but also of construction. Afrikan
self-determined building throughout the various spheres of Afrikan life is
necessary if pinnacle Afrikan civilisation is to be realised. With all of the
know-how Afrikan people can reclaim from their grand experiences of centuries
of old and the lessons learnt from the challenges of temporary disruption imposed
during the Maafa of recent centuries, the Afrikan surely must rouse and apply
the self to global ascension. This time Afrikan civilisation must be secured
into eternity.
The supreme visionary Marcus Garvey insightfully articulated the following words of wisdom and mission-compelling substance:
“Do not be idle, do not remain in the ditch and say you cannot get up. Rouse yourself man to the fullness of your power, to the consciousness of yourself, and believe it a fact that whatever other men have done you can do and you must do if you are to justify your own existence as a man. Again, we repeat the Afrikan is a man and when he is stirred to a consciousness of himself he can be as noble a man as God ever made. Come out of the East of Afrika with your spirit of nobility, come out from the South, come out from the West, come out of Central Afrika with the courage to work to build, to establish. Join hands with those who will come out of the environment of America’s racial oppression and [Caribbean] racial ostracism and let us find common ground on which to lay the foundation of Afrikan nationalism and ultimate imperialism. This hour is ours as builders, as architects of our own Fate and captains of our own Destiny. Let the good ship of Afrikan nationalism sail on. Let us get on board and as a united determined crew let us increase the speed of the mighty bark and set her into port, that harbour of national security that will bestow upon our children and generations yet to come the glories of our own achievement”.
Here, the restoration of self-knowingness is key. The imperative process of self-determined learning is never void of natural purpose and responsibility. Learning can be hijacked for the purpose of alien miseducation with all of the negatives that can bring. Or, rightfully learning can empower natural purpose and empowerment. The great hero Marcus Garvey succinctly states:
“The [Afrikan] is about building a civilisation of his own”
The inspiration and wisdom guidance of the great Marcus Garvey is surely mission-compelling for Afrikans worldwide. Here, the imperative thrust of independent learning can be energised throughout the levels of the self:
The person self (for Afrikan masculine manhood) or (for Afrikan feminine womanhood)
The harmonious and complementary Afrikan male-female union
The Afrikan family
The Afrikan community
The Afrikan nation
The Afrikan world community
