Giving of Life to Life in Celebration of Musa Siku During the Musa Msimu Observance

The Creator Supreme gifted Afrika with abundance of fruit. From the seed embedded in sacred soil comes forth the roots of plant life extend themselves deeply in enrichment and establishment for growth to emerge out of surface ground. From the visible surface plants bloom in splendour and produce precious fruit for the sustenance and furtherance of life. Afrikan souls throughout the world have eternal roots in sacred Afrikan soil that extend into time immemorial as the first of humanity. Though unseen at the surface level the deep ethereal substance of Afrikan beingness is nourished by the profound elements of the sacred universe to produce superlative growth and development that expresses itself magnificently in the physical realm. In turn, young ones are brought forth as the fruits groomed and shaped to flourish in magnificence as the divine conduits for the furtherance of life into eternity. Literally, fruits energise and give life to life. Symbolically, fruits energise and give life to life. This too is all in the rhythmic beauty of Afrikan cycles of ascendency. The supreme visionary Marcus Garvey enlivened Afrikan rootedness throughout the world in a magnanimous way which gave rise to an abundance of fruit steeped in the imperative mission for Afrikan liberty and nationhood. As such, during the celebration of Musa Siku of the Musa Msimu observance fruits are used in ceremony and ritual to enliven the Afrikan soul to the substance of the Afrikan continuum. The tri-colours Red, Black and Green of the Garveyite thrust are represented in the colouration of the fruit selected and are cut or picked to number of seventeen - the day of Garvey’s physical coming. During the Musa Siku celebration fruits are used to energise the oneness of the Afrikan self with the Afrikan continuum physically and ethereally in mission of liberty and nationhood. The Kiswahili word for fruits is Matunda. The Kiswahili phrase Matunda ya Afrika is Fruits of Afrika.
More vile than a pestilential viral plague of disease that can kill plant life, the genocidal foreign enemy brute that has unleashed the destructive hell of the Maafa upon the Afrikan soul in recent centuries has sought to wipe out natural fertility. Outright slaughter, sterilisation, castration and other evil ills have been criminally and savagely deployed to destroy the fruit of the Afrikan continuum. Everything from miseducation to the imposition of foreign religious doctrine have been used in the arsenal of weaponry to thwart the natural full bloom of Afrikan preciousness.
Marvellously, and despite imposed horror, the outstandingly courageous Afrikan souls of the world gain ever-greater traction to cultivate themselves to produce and safeguard glorious fruit. The Garveyite mission for global Afrikan ascendancy is essential fabric of life for this imperative. The entire observance of Musa Msimu provides the wonderful spiritual and cultural vehicle to celebrate, honour and enliven the spirit of Afrikan self-determined nurturing and care necessary for fruit of pinnacle splendour. Inherently holding the imperative to safeguard Afrikan life and mission, the powerful symbology of fruit is part of sacred ritual in order energise life. The outstanding example of the great and magnificent Marcus Garvey is a supreme blessing of inheritance for every Afrikan soul to claim and bring to full fruition for life to give life by way of the powerful Matunda ya Afrika.
The observance of Musa Msimu takes place during the month of so-called August and is a wonderful time to celebrate the mighty example of Marcus Garvey and the Movement that he created led in order for future generations of Afrikans to have their guide for complete freedom and nationhood.
