By the grace of the Ultimate
Divine, for the primary and spirit souls of creation, spirit is all-pervasive and
essential. Spirit flows throughout every aspect of the Afrikan beingness and the
way of life that the Afrikan has cultivated to live. As spirit flows throughout
life the way in which Afrikan souls utilise, channel or energise spirit in their
self-determined spirituality is does not exist in distinct, separate nor in
isolation of culture. It is never boxed-off as a discrete container and kept
somewhere else in relation to the rest
of wholesome and progressive Afrikan life. Spirit is what this
soul people are. Thus, the harmonising oneness of spiritual-cultural living is
vital and is at the core of Afrikan life.
The process of creative restoration that brought forth the wonderful observance of Kwanzaa is profoundly influenced by the magnificent hero Omowale Malcolm X, not least because of his call for a cultural revolution. But also as a great man of spirit who understood that ‘as long as that strong spiritual force was in the movement’ Afrikan souls would ascend in righteousness.
In the so-called 1960’s, the organisers of the creative restoration process that yielded Kwanzaa saw themselves as ‘descendants of Malcolm’ with the call of duty to better the lives of Afrikan souls. In more recent times reflection by the leader of creative restoration project also highlighted that, ‘Malcolm’s moral call and challenge to us to stand up speaks to each of our need and obligation to create the world we want and deserve to live in. Malcolm’s teaching on standing up, like his other ethical and spiritual teachings are rooted in and reflective of his own personal recovery and reconstruction’.
Therefore, as Kwanzaa is creatively restored into fruition so too is Afrikan spirituality. As the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles) are brought to fore so is the spirituality of this soul people. As the symbols, cultural concepts and practice made manifest so too is the spirituality of the world’s primary people.
Furthermore, the spirit of the great hero Omowale Malcolm X in his global organisational thrust to see Afrikan souls:
Unified
Living their self-determined way
Working collectively together
Building their own economy
Fulfilling their rightful purpose
Using their natural creative genius flow to elevate their own people
Having faith in themselves and missioning for their own victorious elevation
is expressed at the heart of Kwanzaa through its value system that is lived and celebrated. Omowale Malcolm X is a monarch of Afrikan spiritual and cultural restoration. He is a grand hero of Imani (Faith). This is a Great Ancestor of Afrikan people people throughout the world, a soul that like the spirit flow he is a tremendous being, advocate and representative of, is not bound to geographical space nor bound to the confines of others that mean the Afrikan ill. Omowale Malcolm X is a Grand Royal Enlivener in the restoration of the Afrikan’s own spiritual way of life. Indeed, Omowale Malcolm X both energises and lives in Afrikan spirituality by way of Kwanzaa (A.S.B.W.O.K.).
The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN) is an organ that is rooted in spiritual and cultural fabric for the imperative the mission of global Afrikan ascendancy.
