Restoration of Value-Rootedness

The principle of faith is the
principle that ushers the new annual cycle into being as the focus of the last
day of the wonderful observance of Kwanzaa. Faith in the Creator Supreme has
been with the Afrikan from the beginning. This wonderful spirit and primary
people of Creation naturally express – by extension – faith in themselves and
necessarily produce great heroes for the imperative thrust of their ascension.
The great hero Omowale Malcolm X missioned for the betterment of Afrikan people
in order that Afrikan life throughout the world could flourish with Afrikan
parenthood being fulfilled, Afrikan teaching being fulfilled and Afrikan
leadership being fulfilled. More than just the expression of his brilliant
oratory prowess, he exemplified being a powerful man for his people, being a
parent, being a teacher for his people and being a leader for his people and so
on. This great Afrikan hero is a freedom fighter that lives on in spirit to realise
the righteousness and victory of Afrikan liberty. Omowale Malcolm X is a hero
of all the seven principles of the Nguzo Saba. Omowale Malcolm X is indeed a
hero of Imani (Faith).
The spirit of Omowale Malcolm X lives on not in some abstract, disconnected realm of theory saturated thought. Rather, this great hero of Imani lives on in the lives of Afrikan people throughout the world whom he continues to serve exceptionally well beyond his physical lifespan. Therefore, as Afrikan souls springboard into a new annual cycle punctuated with the celebration of Imani (Faith) on the 1st January (so-called), the substance of this principle and the other principles of the Nguzo Saba are energised with the spirit of a great hero in the approach and during the observance of Omowale Malcolm X Kukumbuko (Remembrance). Faith is a part of all-year-round Afrikan cultivation and elevation and is key for producing a bountiful yield when the year draws to its close and harvest celebration begins. Afrikan spiritual-cultural fabric of life is one of harmonious and complimentary substance each observance to the next as wonderfully expressed in the cultural observance calendar of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation.
Imani, as with the other principles of the Nguzo Saba, is the result of the progressive process of creative restoration. Culture is at the core of the Afrikan living, The impact Omowale Malcolm X has on Afrikan culture worldwide is profound. Here are words from him on the subject:
“When I was in Ghana I was speaking with, I think his name is Nana Nketsia. I think he’s head of the culture institute. I went to his house. He had gone to Oxford, and one of the things that he said impressed me to no end. He said that as an Afrikan his concept of freed is or a condition in which he, as an Afrikan feels completely free to give vent to his own likes and dislikes and thereby develop his own Afrikan personality. Not a condition where he is copying some European cultural pattern or some European cultural standard, but an atmosphere of complete freedom where he has the right, the leeway, to bring out of himself all of the dormant, hidden talent that has been there for so long. And in that atmosphere, brothers and sisters, you’d be surprised what will come out of the bosom of the [Afrikan]. I’ve seen [Afrikan] musicians when they’d be jamming at a jam session with white musicians – a whole lot of difference. The white musician can jam if he’s got some sort of sheet music in front of him. He can jam on something that he’s heard jammed before. If he’s heard it then he can duplicate it or, he can imitate it or he can read it. But that [Afrikan] musician, he picks up his horn and starts blowing some sounds that he never thought of before. He improvises, he creates, it comes from within. It’s the only area on the [Afrikan] has been free to create. And he has mastered it. He has shown that he can come up with something that nobody ever thought of on his own.
Well likewise he can do the same thing if given intellectual independence. He can come up with a new philosophy. He can come up with a new philosophy that nobody has heard of yet. He can invent a society, a social system, an economic system, a political system that is different from anything that exists or has existed anywhere on this earth. He will improvise, he’ll bring it from within himself. And this is what you and I want”
May your new annual cycle filled with missioning for the ascension of Afrikan souls be with happiness.
