Celebrating Kimungu Madhabahuni

Various qualities of the Creator Supreme have been represented by the deities of the Afrika from the earliest of times. Many of the deities named by the great ancestors of the ancient Nile Valley region are well known sources of empowerment for Afrikan life. But this is by no means exclusive development restricted to a particular time period nor specific geographical space. For Afrikan people, the Ultimate Divine is always present. There are no boundaries time, space or otherwise for the supreme force and creator of the sacred universe. Therefore, the qualities of the Creator supreme are identified by Afrikan souls throughout their many nations and regardless of the age. For example, in west Afrika one of the deities called upon to energise maximal Afrikan wellbeing is known as Osanyin.
Osanyin is a powerful deity of Afrikan health and wellbeing. As with divinity manifestation in the other regions of Afrika where natural spiritual and cultural expression rightfully flourishes, the remit of Osanyin is holistic. Maximal wellbeing encompasses righteous order in Afrikan life: Spirtual, cultural, physical, mental, emotional and social attributes of the Afrikan necessarily must be fully functional for optimal healthiness. Therefore, Osanyin is a superlative practitioner of Afrikan holistic health energising facets from divination to herbal remedy.
The disruptions to the wellbeing of Afrikan souls has been an immense travesty heaped upon them by the hostile foreign enemy forces of anti-Afrikan agency. The resultant Maafa of recent centuries has been a multi-generational saga of horror-filled destruction of the most barbarous and genocidal disorder ever to disgrace the world.
Thankfully, multitudes of Afrikan souls kidnapped and brought into the terrorising death camps of enslavement (far too politely called plantations) in the west remembered their ways. Osanyin became important in the fight for freedom and to aid Afrikan wellbeing. Whether through empowering ritual practice or in the composition of blended herbs, the power of Osanyin saved lives, promoted and safeguarded this marvellous people set upon by dire alien ills.
Afrikans in Brazil, remembered Osayin as Ossaim. It is through Ossaim that oneness of health for all the Afrikan souls that found themselves thrust together in the new world could be served. Regardless of the region of Afrika they originated from or the original Afrikan language spoken Ossaim served a whole people. Ossaim become a synthesised expression incorporating original forms of the Osayin of west Afrika with empowering practice from other regions of the Afrikan continent. Indeed, the Afrikan spiritual and cultural way is natural organic flow and developing best ways to maximise Afrikan health is eternal dynamic process.
Like the journey of the deity of waters Yemoja to Yemanja, The flow of Osayin to Ossaim speaks to the self-determination of the Afrikan souls of the world to cater for themselves in the best ways possible even in the most hostile and dire of circumstance.
As Afrikan souls continue their ever-onward climb to pinnacle ascension enlivenment for optimal health in their living shrine of self, this powerful deity is surely a vital part of living fabric.
