Remembering the Great Omowale Malcolm X

The art of governance has necessarily been with the world’s primary builders of nation from the earliest of times. Indeed, it would be more accurate to qualify the term with the prefix of self in the Afrikan context. Self-governance then is the natural norm for Afrikan life and its ascension. It is a natural expression of the Afrikan way. From the level of the Afrikan person self, self-governance is amplified into the harmonious and complementary Afrikan male-female union, from which it is amplified into the Afrikan family, community, nation and beyond.

With the interruption and disruptions such as that of the Maafa of recent centuries the natural norm of Afrikan self-governance has been set upon in destructive ways by others that mean the Afrikan ill. The alien-manufactured constructs and behaviours described as, ‘politics’ has then been peddled and imposed upon Afrikan life.

According to a popular mainstream source the word politics is said to be:

“the activities associated with the governance of a country or area, especially the debate between parties having power”.

The various political party constructs that multitudes of Afrikan souls are subject throughout the world to are not determined by Afrikan souls and the rightful order of the Afrikan way. The great hero Omowale Malcolm X insightfully assesses the politics within the U.S.:

“Among whites here in America, the political teams are no longer divided into Democrats and Republicans. The whites who are now struggling for control of the American political throne are divided into liberal and conservative camps. The white liberals from both parties cross party lines to work together toward the same goal. And white conservatives from both parties do likewise. The white liberal differs from the white conservative only in one way, the liberal is more deceitful, more hypocritical than the conservative. Both want power. But the white liberal is the one who has perfected the art of posing as the [Afrikan’s] friend and benefactor. And by winning the friendship and support of the [Afrikan], the white liberal is able to use the [Afrikan] as a pawn or weapon in this political football game that is constantly raging between the white liberal and the white conservatives. The American [Afrikan] is nothing but a political football. And the white liberals control this ball through tricks or tokenism – false promises of integration and civil rights. In this game of deceiving and using the American [Afrikan], the white liberals have complete cooperation of the [Afrikan] civil rights leaders, who sell our people out for a few crumbs of token recognition, token gain, token progress”.

According to popular mainstream platform the word football is defined as:

“any of various forms of team game involving kicking (and in some cases also handling) a ball”.

The ‘kickers’ and ‘handlers’ of ill are not confined by geographical space. In his visit to the UK, Omowale Malcom X addressed the issues faced by Afrikan souls within those shores whilst being questioned by a European reporter:

“The [Afrikan] community makes a mistake when it tries to say, ‘We’re as good as you are’, because their ‘admitting’ you’re better. I personally don’t endorse that”.

The ‘admittance’ or ‘acceptance’ of being a football or any ball whilst the kickers continue to kick and the handlers continue to handle is acutely anathema to the natural norm of Afrikan self-governance.

Surely, it is of vital importance that Afrikan souls remember themselves, organise themselves, build for themselves and restore their natural norm of self-governance and greatness. The great hero Omowale Malcolm X thus reminds Afrikan souls:

“Of all of our studies, history is best qualified to reward our research”.
