Remembering the Great Hero Omowale Malcolm X

The physical biological part of Afrikan beingness has as a
vital organ the heart. Beyond basic physical functioning however, Afrikan souls
have spiritual and cultural conception of the heart. Amongst other things the
heart represents a person’s deeds. In
this sense, the heart holds the record of the deeds of the person self. As such,
if the Afrikan person self is diligent, dedicated to rightfully lift and
safeguard Afrikan souls optimally in liberty and nationhood then the heart holds
account of such upright effort. If however, the misguided person self is a
wrongdoer who works against rightful Afrikan betterment then the heart can
become consumed by the ill-deeds of self-destruction. In the collective sense,
the functioning of the heart is amplified from the level of person. There is therefore
there is the heart of harmonious and complementary Afrikan male-female union, there
is the heart of the Afrikan family, there is the heart of the Afrikan community,
there is the heart of the Afrikan nation and the heart of the Afrikan world
community. This together yielding the functional conception of ‘one heart’.
On this day in 1965, the great hero Omowale Malcolm X had is physical person self set upon from which he was martyred. However, Afrikan beingness is naturally of one heart. For this hero who rightfully committed and dedicated himself to bringing forth the liberty and ascension for his people throughout the world, the vital powerfulness of the Afrikan one heart was superlatively brought to the fore.
In his visit to the UK, he delivered a presentation on 11th February 1965 in which he insightfully emphasised the oneness of heart that Afrikan people naturally hold:
“The same heart that moves the Afrikan beats in the [Afrikan] man of North and South America and the Caribbean”.
This was far from empty rhetoric as he sought to bring Afrikan souls to the realisation of the rooted oneness that they naturally hold each to the next. This great hero also pointed out that dynamics of circumstance be transformed through the upright victorious posture and self-determined effort of Afrikans themselves:
“The basic difference in the struggle of the [Afrikan] man today in the western hemisphere, is the new sense of dignity and urgency”.
The new sense of dignity and urgency is surely one that Afrikan souls in the now can energise themselves with wherever they happen to be in the world. Afrikans must surely restore themselves to their rightful place of optimal flourishing through building wherever they stand. Wilful disfunction, indignity and denial of self are surely anathema to building rightful ascension throughout the various levels of the Afrikan self.
A portion of the Eulogy honouring this great hero articulated the following:
“Last year, from Afrika, he wrote these words to a friend; ‘My journey’, he says, ‘is almost ended, and I have a much broader scope that when I started out, which I believe will add new life and dimension to our struggle for freedom, honour and dignity in the States. I am writing these things so that you will know for a fact the tremendous sympathy and support we have among the Afrikan States for our Human Rights struggle. The main thing is that we keep a United Front wherein our most valuable time and energy will not be wasted fighting each other”.
This great Afrikan hero, and superlative energiser of the Afrikan one heart continues his mission in spirit – victory for this primary people of the world is nigh!
