Remembering a Great Hero

It would be nonsensical in the natural norm of self-determined life for Afrikan souls of any era to absolve themselves from knowing something of their ancient and grand achievements. Inherently normal is the empowerment that can be gleaned from the Afrikan history continuum in all of its splendour and glory from the beginning. There are many lessons to be learned and the fundamental strengths of building and security that remain key throughout the ages. As Afrikan souls continue their imperative thrust of ascension from generation to generation, the knowingness and remembrance of themselves is indispensable.

Despite the disruptions and interruptions of the Maafa of recent centuries, have made tremendous efforts to recover, restore and inform themselves of their own history continuum. For in doing so their own brilliancy of pinnacle civilisation construction is uncovered. Of course, others of ill seek to deny Afrikan souls of self knowingness whilst raising aloft whatever is considered important in foreign history. Indeed, efforts to hijack Afrikan experience and grotesquely repackage it as though it is the result of alien efforts are popular. Yet, it is only Afrikan souls that can safeguard themselves from the ill-effects of such folly. Only Afrikan souls can learn of their own experiences, restore self-knowingness and build life accordingly. Only Afrikan souls can restore their natural norm of pinnacle civilisation.

The great hero Omowale Malcolm X in eloquently highlighting aspects of ancient Afrikan history, articulated the following deeply meaningful insight:

“What I was showing him was this picture here of these statues that were found over in Egypt, Upper Egypt of Black men that were placed there and carved out of solid granite thousands of years ago…today in the Los Angeles Times on page two, they have the same picture. If you look in today’s Sunday Times and they have a story on page two about this temple over in Afrika. They call it Egypt but Egypt is in Afrika. And the value of which is so tremendous it points out how the United Nations is trying to float a loan of around thirty million dollars to save this temple from being covered by the water being brought up by this Aswan dam that they’re trying to build over there. And this thing is so shrewdly done that every Negro will look at it and read it and because it says Egypt he never identifies it with him or him with it”.

Afrikan souls must surely remember themselves, lest they wallow in a state of historical and social amnesia. Memory-less, the Afrikan is susceptible to disuse this way or that at the whimsical hands of others meaning ill. Memory restoration is therefore key. As such, the great hero Omowale Malcolm X emphatically reminded Afrikan souls that:

“Of all our studies, history is best qualified to reward our research”.
