Securing the History of Self: What of Historical Empathy of Oneness?

Celebrating the Great Afrikan History Continuum

As quiet as it may be kept amidst the disruptive noise of the contemporary era, the Afrikan community at its expansive level does not naturally just consist of Afrikan souls of the present – whether located here, there or elsewhere. It also consists of the continuum of Afrikan souls in past, present and future tenses (also regardless of locale). This mirrors then the experiences that Afrikan souls determine for themselves past, present and future as the substance of their history continuum. Here, the Afrikan history continuum holds the history of the then, the history unfolding in the now and the history to unfold throughout the tomorrows to come.

As the Afrikan studies and utilises the history continuum of self, one of the qualities that can usefully be brought to the fore in an empowering way is that of empathy. In this, the Afrikan can ‘walk in the shoes’ of those Afrikans that came before the now, other Afrikans in the now and, with projection, those of Afrikans yet to come – all in service of Afrikan ascension and security.

According to a mainstream source the following detail applies to the term historical empathy:

“Historical empathy refers to the ability to perceive, emotionally experience, and contextualise a historical figure's lived experience. Historical empathy is important because it puts the past into context we can internalise on a deeper level”.

This detail provides some useful indicators on the subject. Yet, in the broad Afrikan context such empathy is not restricted exclusively to the singularity of a ‘figure’ (albeit that great Afrikan figures naturally represent a larger Afrikan whole). Thus, in the Afrikan worldview at the expansive level, the collective aspect would naturally and explicitly be emphasised.  Additionally, historical empathy is inextricably linked to the unending flow of the Afrikan history continuum. In that, souls can empathise with the Afrikan historical experience of the past, the Afrikan historical experience being made in the present and the Afrikan historical experience projected to be made.  Really, this is a matter of Afrikan souls empathising with themselves in oneness of empowerment in multi-faceted and dynamic ways.

At this point, it may be useful to highlight a mainstream meaning of the word oneness thus:

“the fact or state of being unified or whole, though comprised of two or more parts”.

In order to express some level of meaning in regards to historical empathy as it would relate specifically to the Afrikan experience, adaptation of the sourced detail is considered apt. In so doing, the following may be expressed:

“Afrikan historical empathy of oneness refers to the ability Afrikans hold to perceive, experience and contextualise the historical experiences of their figures and their collective whole – in the past, present and future history unfolding – in service of their ascension and security. Afrikan historical empathy is important because it puts the historical substance of the then, the now and the tomorrow into a context that soul people can naturally internalise on a deeper level whether they are located here, there or elsewhere. Further, Afrikan historical empathy of oneness is an empathy of the Afrikan collective self throughout the shared and unending flow of this people’s Afrikan beingness and continuum”.

Unfortunately, others that mean the Afrikan ill may seek to deny Afrikan souls of their natural norm of historical empathy of self through ill vices such as miseducation and misinformation. At the same time, the feature of historical empathy may not be totally abandoned but become grotesquely redirected in an attempt to have Afrikans only empathise with the ‘history’ of others and to the dire and complete neglect of themselves.

Despite the challenges, only Afrikan souls can restore their self-knowingness and allow the quality of their Afrikan historical empathy of oneness to fully flourish in service of their upright betterment. In deep connectedness with the history of themselves here, there or elsewhere – this soul people can indeed realise the optimal ascension that their historical empathy reveals.
