Celebrating the Great Afrikan History Continuum

The historical perspectives
Afrikan souls hold of themselves are naturally richly endowed with the lessons
that come from their self-determined experiences throughout their continuum. This
is an essential part of the bedrock that allows this soul people to establish
their knowledge-based context of whatever epoch is of the present unfolding or
of focus.
A contemporary mainstream source offers the following detail in relation to historical perspective:
“Taking historical perspective means understanding the social, cultural, intellectual, and emotional settings that shaped people's lives and actions in the past”.
Of course, the total panorama of Afrikan soul’s historical understanding also vitally holds spiritual understanding and their whole experience that any written listing may be restrictively limiting. However, an array of useful indicators can still provide benefit to imperative endeavour of Afrikan souls understanding themselves on a historical basis.
So, what does Afrikan historical perspectives have to do with the vision for this primary people of creation? Whilst vision may hold its qualities of creativity, it does not come to be in some isolated vacuum of itself. It holds both context and is naturally informed. In this, historical perspective is key. Another mainstream source offers the following detail on the subject:
“Historical perspective refers to understanding a subject in light of its earliest. phases and subsequent evolution. This perspective differs from history be- cause its object is to sharpen one's vision of the present, not the past”.
Of course, vision can also have its long-reaching implications for Afrikan souls into the distant future. Here, yet another mainstream source posits the following in relation to the word vision:
“the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom”.
To bring focus specifically upon the Afrikan experience, adaptation of the sourced details combined is considered apt. The result may look something like the following:
“Afrikan historical perspective refers to the understanding Afrikan people hold about themselves (in whatever subject matter or area of focus) across time and space throughout their historical continuum. Such a perspective may include but is not limited to the spiritual, social, cultural and intellectual settings that have been determined by Afrikan souls themselves that have shaped their lives for their optimal flourishing and security. Afrikan historical perspective allows Afrikan souls to sharpen their vision of their self-determined present and future unfolding of upright and continual ascension”.
Despite the destructive efforts of others that mean the Afrikan ill in a state of interruption and disruption, it is Afrikan souls themselves who must realise their historical perspective and inform the progressive visions they have for themselves accordingly. Key to this is study of their historical experience as a sound and indispensable pillar of self-knowledge. Thus. If Afrikan people get to know themselves, then today and tomorrow can hold progressive Afrikan vision that can be uprightly acted upon. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
