Celebrating the Magnificent Harvest of All-Year-Round Ascension

Authentic cultural expression for Afrikan souls is a natural outward reflection of the self-determined authentic cultural substance that this people hold (creatively restored or otherwise). Void of their cultural substance and its functioning at the core and foundational level of Afrikan life, authentic cultural expression cannot properly exist for it is without its source of enlivenment.

Under normal circumstances non-existence of authentic cultural substance and its rightful outward expressions would probably be unworthy of consideration and even deemed to be non-sensical for this primary people of creation. Yet, in a state of interruption and disruption where Afrikan souls may be destructively set upon by others that mean the Afrikan ill, authentic Afrikan culture and its expressions may be subject to being attacked, attempted nullification and replacement. Ill-vices of pseudo-cultural substance may be pushed and peddled as substitutes to derail authentic quality for Afrikan ascension. If so, then its outward expressions are also of pseudo-cultural content mirroring the same derailing function at the level of creative presentation.

At this point, it may be helpful to delve into some definitional detail. According to a contemporary mainstream source, the term cultural expression attracts the following description:

“Cultural expression refers to the various ways in which a society or group of people express their beliefs, values, and traditions through art, music, dance, literature, and other forms of creative expression. It is a reflection of the cultural identity and heritage of a particular community”.

Another mainstream source offers the following detail with the term cultural expression being qualified with the word authentic:

“Authentic Cultural Expressions refer to the honest and respectful portrayal of cultural values, practices, and perspectives”.

To bring focus specifically to the Afrikan experience at the shared level of oneness, these sources can be combined and adapted. To do so, can bring about a result that looks something like the following:

“Authentic Afrikan cultural expression refers to the various self-determined ways in which Afrikan souls express their own beliefs, values and traditions through art, music, dance, literature and other forms of creative expression in an honest and self-respecting way. The beliefs, values, traditions and so on are held within their authentic cultural substance of shared oneness for soul people’s engagement and practice here, there and elsewhere, whether it is creatively restored or otherwise”.

Thankfully, authentic Afrikan cultural expression can be enlivened in today’s times with the brilliant efforts Afrikan souls have brought forth to realise authentic cultural substance at the core and shared level of oneness amongst Afrikan souls. One such example is in the exceptional example of the Nguzo Saba and the observance of Kwanzaa from which it comes. Afrikans here, there and elsewhere thus have readily accessible to them their own authentic way. Surely, the knowingness that Afrikan souls void of their authentic cultural substance and their authentic cultural expressions is nonsensical ought to be returned. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
