T-A-M-B-I-K-O - Ishi (To live)

Afrikan people are blessed with the greatest culture known to the world by grand orchestration of the Ultimate Divine. From the beginning, and with living knowingness of the Creator Supreme, Afrikans have cultivated themselves at the deepest levels with spiritual and cultural living of the highest order. The wonderful observance of Kwanzaa is a beautiful manifestation of Afrikan spiritual and cultural life. Throughout Afrikan life and indeed as a feature of the Kwanzaa observance is the process of Tambiko or libation. This is a practice of offering, which popularly consists of pouring water into soil to (amongst other things) honour the great ones of the ancestral realm. This energises the efforts made by Afrikans throughout the year to lift themselves in the thrust of nationhood. For this is living honour to those that have previously missioned in honour to lift Afrikan souls in the now and tomorrows to come. Highlighting this important and continual thrust is an acronym of the word Tambiko, compiled by this author. It can be seen as spiritual and cultural energising prompt for annual ascension. Or, it can be viewed as a spiritual and cultural checklist for continually rooted living. The identifiers are in Kiswahili and are detailed thus:

Taalamu  (To be well informed)

Akina (To relate)

Madaraka (To be responsible)

Baraka (To be blessed)

Ishi (To live)

Kamilisha (To be complete)

Ongeza (To incresase)

The fifth part of the Tambiko acronym is Ishi (To live) – To know that each Afrikan soul is a part of the Afrikan continuum of the then, now and the tomorrows to come and live.

By the grace of the Creator Supreme purposeful living for the Afrikan world community whilst holding the preciousness of basic biological function is much more.  Living for the Afrikan world collective is life of fulfilment and flourishing that is born of purpose. It is the thrust and mission for the greater good that reveals the best of Afrikan cultivation and effort. Therefore, whether expressed at the level of the person self or (say) at the level of familyhood purposeful living is always part of that which is greater. The greatest authority forever being the Ultimate Divine. Despite the futile and destructive efforts of others that mean the Afrikan ill, there is no alien-imposed collective state out of which the Afrikan cannot lift themselves with the empowerment of the Creator Supreme.  With the pouring of tambiko come recommitment and rededication to purposeful Afrikan living in mission of nation building (amongst much else). Building upon the Afrikan experience of the then, building in the now and empowering the building that must continue into the future is surely purposeful living to be fully restored to Afrikan life.  

Victoriously, even if the Afrikan (for survival) is compelled to work in the clutches of alien institutions, is able to still energise spiritual and cultural substance with the Kwanzaa and the Nguzo Saba. Carving out as much time as is possible for themselves throughout the year for effective nation use, Afrikans can celebrate, reflect and project year-on -year for ever-ascending heights.  

The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN) is an organ that is rooted in spiritual and cultural fabric for the imperative the mission of global Afrikan ascendancy. Throughout its annual observance calendar cycle URAN energises active knowingness in and from the core spirit levels of Afrikan beingness. It is from this all-year-round living which includes the other forms of Afrikan knowingness that Kwanzaa (also of the observance calendar cycle) yields celebratory triumph.  

All-year-round and life-long learning for the Afrikan (independent of others) is a wholesome and ever-ascending endeavour. Comparative knowingness is a firm part of this endeavour and its annual yield can be celebrated as a part of Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is one in the series of annual observances of the Afrikan spiritual and cultural calendar cycle to bring about and lift the imperative of Afrikan spiritual and cultural maturation.

The wonderful observance of Kwanzaa takes place from the 26th of so-called December to the 1st of so-called January. It is seven-day period of Afrikan celebration and spiritual-cultural enrichment. Based upon the harvesting traditions of the Afrikan world this celebration of first fruits has at its core the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles) together with an beautiful array of deeply meaningful symbols established elevate the Afrikan world community to its fullest flourishing.
