Celebrating the Shrine of Self and Shrine Space

Afrikan souls, as the primary people of the world, are beyond doubt of natural and superlative excellence. From the beginning this powerful people have elevated themselves to the grand heights of pinnacle civilisation, unmatched in magnificence and longevity. Throughout their natural norm of self-determined living this people have pulled together their energies to build their own institutions of life as fundamental to lifting themselves to the greatest of heights. Deeply meaningful symbols of powerfulness in reverence of the Creator Supreme, rightful living and order were necessarily developed by this people to punctuate and reinforce their continual ascension in life. One such symbol came to the fore with the gesture of holding what has become recognised today as the power fist. Out of the interruptions and disruptions of recent centuries of the Maafa, Afrikan souls have rightfully and vitally sought to restore their own cultural fabric. As such, the power fist has been (amongst other things) restored in the gesture of Harambee (To pull together). By extending the arm upwardly with the digits of the hand separated and then pulling the arm down towards the body whilst bringing the digits of the hand together into a clenched fist represents the powerfulness of Afrikan souls coming together. This gesture of Harambee emerging in contemporary times as a grand feature of the wonderful observance of Kwanzaa is a symbol of empowerment for the Afrikan world.

Of course, the coming together of Afrikan souls for building, mission and purpose of their own ascension remains of reverence to the Creator Supreme. As such, applying the concept and symbol of Harambee to the levels of the Afrikan self: the Afrikan person self, the harmonious and complementary Afrikan male-female union, the Afrikan family, the Afrikan community, the Afrikan nation and the Afrikan world community is surely natural and victorious to do.

The Afrikan Nation

Afrikan souls are the first people to establish nationhood for themselves in the annals of historical unfolding. This primary people of the world are not only the first to construct their own nations but established ones of unmatched excellence and longevity in the crucible of their homeland of Afrika throughout the ages. Nations such as those of the ancient Nile Valley, or Ancient Ghana, Mwenemutapa, Cathage, the Zulu and on and on and on throughout the vast continent and throughout the ages, provide powerful insights and a multitude of lessons to be gleaned. Even with the disruptions of the recent Maafa, Afrikan souls held their living substance of nationhood and built accordingly. In the Americas, Afrikan nationhood emerged to establish Palmares in Brazil and Little Afrika of Oklahoma. In the Islands nationhood gave rise to independent Haiti, the fight for liberty and independence in Grenada and on and on and on throughout the ‘new world’ as independent so-called maroon societies were established from region to region.

The following are some suggestions from this author for the establishment and flourishing of the Afrikan community in the contemporary context:

Establish wholesome educational and other initiatives that work to restore knowingness of natural Afrikan nation-building excellence throughout the ages. Strengths can then be utilised and built upon and any necessary strengthening can be applied to nationhood construction and continuum. Key lessons with regards to ensuring that Afrikan souls of the nation are safeguarded require special attention given the experience of the Maafa and the various vices of ill deployed by alien forces.

Engagement in the vital process of creative restoration at the spiritual-cultural level is vital foundational activity to ensure that the Afrikan way of life is optimally elevated, integrity-filled and energises security against alien contaminates of ill.

Develop independent self-determined Afrikan leadership rite of passage programmes for Afrikan souls to effectively function in the process of self-determined nation-governance. Simply being processed through alien ‘higher’ educational institutions, being financially well-endowed, having alien-sponsored popularity and such the like (though can be usefully directed tools) by themselves, are not of fundamental substance for rooted self-governance.

Restore the Afrikan way of life and Afrikan spiritual functioning to its rightful place of being nation-official. Afrikan souls naturally and maximally flourish through their own way of life that best serves them. Such facets as Afrikan language and self-determined observances ought not be bogusly relegated to less-than or tertiary. Indeed, what is empoweringly determined by the Afrikan for self-ascension best serves the Afrikan. Make full use of creatively restored observances such as the wonderful observance of Kwanzaa and it all-year-round values of the Nguzo Saba. ASBWOK (Afrikan Spirituality By Way of Kwanzaa) is also of great importance in this light.

Promote Afrikan intra-nation and Afrikan inter-nation harmony and cooperation with self-governing leadership structure, order and value-driven respectfulness in shared mission of ascension.

Afrikan determined institutions of spiritual practice, self-governance, economics, education, security and media facilities are key to the flourishing Afrikan nation.

Organs such as the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation mission in the thrust for Afrikan liberty and nationhood. Afrikan souls must surely be a part of an organised mission for their own ascension.

The gesture of Harambee can certainly then relate to the pulling together of Afrikan nationhood. Even if it is in microcosmic form as a start to restore the necessarily strength, dignity and pride for fully-fledged and victorious Afrikan nation to be – this is crucial functioning. The digits of Afrikan hands can be pulled together to form the fist representing the powerfulness of the various institutions that constitute the nation in oneness of fullest flourishing, victorious being and security.

The order of Harambee for nation is powerful indeed.

Kimungu Madhabahuni is a time of year to celebrate the Afrikan shrine at home and beyond. Kimungu Madhabahuni takes place during the holiday period associated with the spring equinox. At this time many people are away from the mundane of the various institutions albeit largely as a dictate of presently popular foreign religious doctrine. This therefore, can allow many more Afrikan people the time and space to restore, elevate and be themselves freely in reverence at their own special places.Throughout the annual cycle of the spiritual and cultural calendar of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation observance to observance, Afrikan life is endowed with the essential of living knowingness. For the Afrikan souls, being a part of an organ for mission ascendancy is key. The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation is a spiritually and culturally rooted organ for Afrikan ascension.
