Celebrating Afrikan Liberators, Liberation and Liberty

Afrikan souls have been blessed with abundant spirit substance by the
Ultimate Divine. This great abundance is the stuff of core beingness that
energises the best of life’s expression. For the Afrikan spirit is not a phenomena
of fictional fantasy in which to escape the realities of life’s engagement.
Rather, spirit is essential energising substance to enable the Afrikan to bring
about the best self-determined ascension possible. This is why the naturally
self-governing Afrikan from generation-to-generation throughout the ages has
been able to establish the greatest and longest-lived civilisations that have
ever come to be. The Afrikan as spirit has always been and this is no less true
in the imperative thrust for liberty and nationhood. During the Maafa of recent centuries (which persists in
the now), the major example of the Afrikan revolution in Haiti illustrates this:
“The Irritated Genie of Haiti was called forth during the celebration of Ogun’s ceremony on August 14, 1791. Ogun was the personification of the Voodun Spirit of Warfare and Iron. This event took place in a forest near what at the time was called Cape Francois, the colonial capital. Bookman (as he was generally known) who was a Voodun priest, planned the launching of the revolution with Ogun’s celebration in keeping with the time tested tradition among Afrikan people that human events must be coordinated with cosmological forces and ancestral spirits. The revolution, thus had its roots in the Afrikan worldview”.
The basic formulation of liberty in which the key components in addition to the process provides the result applied to liberty yields:
Afrikan Liberators + Afrikan Liberation = Afrikan Liberty
This formulation can also be applied in respect of spirit. Where spirit is the key component, spirituality is the process and the outcome is optimal self-determined application for life building and elevation thus:
Afrikan spirit + Afrikan Spirituality = Optimal self-determined engagement for the building and elevation of Afrika life
There is then an inherent synthesis between the formulation of liberty to account for the the natural abundance of Afrikan spirit. For the Afrikan, life throughout its various spheres is naturally and necessarily a whole experience. Therefore, the spirit-liberty synthesis can be articulated thus:
Afrikan Liberator Spirit + Afrikan Liberation Spirituality = Optimal self-determined engagement for the building and maintenance of Afrika Liberty and Nationhood.
Just as Liberator is a key component so too is Spirit. As Liberation is process that the Liberator engages in for the outcome of Liberty so too is Spirituality the process that Spirit engages in to yield optimal application of self in life’s endeavours.
The observances of Omowale Malcolm X Siku (celebration of this great liberator who is known as an Ogun) and Afrika Ukombozi Siku are part of the spiritual and cultural observance calendar of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN). Throughout the year (observance to observance) harmonious complementarity is manifest in the holistic fabric of the whole annual cycle. These two observances relate to each other in a number of special ways. One such way is the emphasis of, and imperative connection of the Afrikan Liberator with the process of Afrikan Liberation. Afrikan souls, being a part of an organ for mission ascendancy is key for both liberator and liberation. The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation is a spiritually and culturally rooted organ for Afrikan ascension.
The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN) is an Afrikan-centred spiritual and cultural mission for ascendancy that embodies living spiritually and culturally rooted life.
