Celebrating the Great Afrikan History Continuum

One of the basic dictums of nature
is that of self-preservation. For the primary people of creation their beingness
of self is represented by their immediate presence in any now. Yet, their self
also includes their self of yesteryear and their self of tomorrow. Here, the
Afrikan history continuum of then, now and tomorrow is an intrinsic part of
self-preservation for this naturally whole people. In relation to their
continuum, one might use the descriptor of historical preservation for aspects
of its security. In the living sense, it is the self-determined Afrikan way of
life at its spiritual-cultural core that fuels this people’s history making and
drives its preservation then, now and tomorrow. So, their norm of superlative civilisation
is built and its substance and expressions are then naturally preserved by its
builders.
In the contemporary era, a mainstream source offers the following description:
“Historic preservation, built heritage preservation or built heritage conservation is an endeavour that seeks to preserve, conserve and protect buildings, objects, landscapes or other artifacts of historical significance”.
The above extract focusses on outward physical expression and physical representation that are deemed to be significant. Still, for Afrikan souls what they deem to be of historical significance is established and preserved on the basis of their way of life.
In a state of interruption and disruption, Afrikan souls may have their own way of life set-upon in destructive ways. As a result, not only does the natural norm of uprightly constructive self-determined living suffer, but also the outward physical expressions that would ordinarily be deemed significant. Destructive ills pushed and peddled by others that mean the Afrikan ill is far less than ordinary. Yet, it is only Afrikan souls themselves that can restore connection to their history continuum and historical preservation.
If buildings of historical significance to Afrikan souls are to be preserved then they must be determined to be. If objects of historical significance to Afrikan souls are to be preserved then they must be determined to be. If landscapes of historical significance to Afrikan souls are to be preserved then they must be determined to be. If artifacts of historical significance to Afrikan souls are to be preserved then they must be determined to be. This is true of the Afrikan past, present and future. Here then, the Afrikan surely has a duty and responsibility to the self of the then, the now and tomorrow to restore self-knowingness and reconnect to their history continuum in a lived way. Each soul from whatever station, level or status can make upright steps of progress in this regard. At the same time, the Afrikan can do the self a great service in safeguarding against contaminants of ill, self-destructive wrongdoings and the like.
High civilisation is born of highly civilised living. It is simple to conceive but can be a challenge to achieve. Despite any challenge, this pioneering, pragmatic soul people of building excellence can surely fulfil their maximal potential and maximal capability to realise their norm of civilised optimality. Civilisation is not of happenstance is to be built and preserved.
