Celebrating the Great Afrikan History Continuum

Excellent, pioneering, innovative, uprightly impactful,
progressively transformational and highly advanced are some of the descriptors
that could readily be applied to the great self-determined experiences
throughout the Afrikan continuum. Even a cursory glance at some of the great
historical achievements of this soul people can energise a deep sense of
productive pride in them as they naturally continue to be inspired and informed
of the great examples of that which they brought to be before the now of any period.
However, if all the Afrikan knows of self is the period in which the plantation or colony dominated their existence then their history becomes severely castrated. This may be to the point where such disruption and interruption is considered as some sort of pseudo-norm that can be erroneously assumed to be the totality of this people’s experience. Here, souls may reject association with this sort of ring-fenced memory recall that may be bogusly peddled as their historical totality because of the exclusive pain, shame or other such invocations that such a castration can attract.
According to one contemporary mainstream source:
“Shame is a self-punishing acknowledgment of something gone wrong”.
Confined exclusively to disruption knowingness and void of the context of their richly endowed and powerfully expansive historical reality, susceptible souls may then only see their existence and wrong and self-punish accordingly. Any such circumstance would surely allow others that mean the Afrikan ill to rub their hands with glee.
Yet despite the challenges, it is only Afrikan souls that can restore a level of knowingness of and reconnection to their bountiful history continuum. In so doing, this primary people can be empowered by their norm of enduring and pinnacle civilisation. It also allows for any period of disruption to be placed in context for lessons to be learned and life to be secured into upright ascension. Inherently, this is an un-shaming of Afrikan experience and steps towards wholesome historical recovery can be taken by souls from whatever station, level or status. In this, learning is key. As is securing the self from contaminants of ill, self-destructive wrongdoings and the like.
Of course, for this naturally pragmatic and highly civilised people of upright construction un-shaming or not to be consumed by ill is only an initial part and not enough in and of itself. Building of pinnacle civilisation was never an occurrence of happenstance. As one saying goes in relation to knowingness of history, ‘Where you start is where you’ll end up!’
Afrikan Historia Msimu is an observance period for the duration of the tenth month of the year (so-called October).
