Remembering a Great Hero

Surely to engage in positive and progressive endeavours of upright order - in the fullest sense - that are for the betterment and security of the Afrikan self, Afrikan souls must hold of themselves a positive self-image.  At the natural, core and shared level of Afrikan oneness, outwardly projected reflection of the authentic and positive self applies to the Afrikan souls here, there or elsewhere.

According to a contemporary mainstream source, the term positive self-image is given the following description in relation to an individual:

“A positive self-image is having a good view of yourself”.

Another mainstream source offers the following additional detail:

“With a positive self-image, we recognise and own our assets and potential while being realistic about our liabilities and limitations. With a negative self-image, we focus on our perceived faults and weaknesses, distorting failure and imperfections”.

For the sake of bringing the focus into the context of this discussion where the experience of Afrikan souls here, there and elsewhere are relevant, adaptation and combination of the sourced details is considered apt. Alteration may result in something that looks like the following:

“A positive Afrikan self-image that applies to Afrikan souls here, there and elsewhere is born of their natural core and shared oneness of being. It is Afrikans having and securing an authentic, upright and good view of themselves wherever located. With a positive Afrikan self-image, Afrikan souls can recognise and be empowered by their own assets, attributes, capabilities and potentials whilst being aware of any attempts to impose hampering limitations or even castrate positive self-imagery by others with ill-intent. In this, the Afrikan ought to reject and safeguard against negative self-imagery that attempts to condemn Afrikan life into being fault-ridden, weak and falsely distorting Afrikan existence to one of perennial failure replete with dire imperfections or worse”.

Despite the challenges of any external impositions of ill directly or by proxy, it is only Afrikan souls themselves that can restore their positive and shared self-image to its rightful order and place.

The great hero Omowale Malcolm X, offers the following deeply insightful words of wisdom to the Afrikan world community to empower their imperative thrust for their continual ascension of rightful order:

“To the same degree that your understanding of and attitude toward Afrika becomes positive, you’ll find that your attitude and your understanding toward yourself will also become positive”.

Surely, the Afrikan here, there and elsewhere can take heed of this great hero’s powerful words of wisdom and apply themselves accordingly. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
