Remembering a Great Hero

In their establishment of the greatest and most enduring civilisations ever to exist Afrikan souls naturally determined their own systems of governance.  Bear in mind that civilisation and culture can be used interchangeably, governance throughout the various levels of the self were woven in the fabric of life. Thus, even if considered as a nation’s office it was naturally realised as an outward expression of lived authentic Afrikan culture (creatively restored or otherwise).

As one contemporary mainstream source puts it:

“Civilisations have an organised governing body”.

Another mainstream source comments on the meaning of governance thus:

“Governance means how a country or organisation is organised at the highest level. A good governance means there is equal and proper management, guidance for processes and the rights to make decisions with responsibility”.

Throughout the ages Afrikan souls were able to govern themselves effectively across vast territory and in such a way as to make exceptional advancements throughout the various spheres of Afrikan life.

Unfortunately, in recent centuries with the imposition of disruption and interruption by the hands of others that mean the Afrikan ill, Afrikan civilisation (culture) and the natural norm of self-governance outwardly expressed can suffer acutely.

Of course, there are many important lessons that can be gleaned from both the normal state of Afrikan optimality and interruption existence. Not least are the lessons that can be brought forth on the subject of perennial security for soul people and their shared core authentic culture (creatively restored or otherwise) here, there and elsewhere.

The great hero Omowale Malcolm X in informative expression of his analytical prowess describes how the natural norm of Afrikan governance can be destructively set upon when he states:

“The slavemaster took Tom and dressed him well, and fed him well, and even gave him a little education — a little education; gave him a long coat and a top hat and made all the other slaves look up to him. Then he used Tom to control them”.

Whether the disruption is classified as enslavement, colonisation and so on; and whether the disruption takes place in this geographical locale or that – the destructive strategies deployed carry the same substance, intent and continue to persist.

Surely then, Afrikan souls have a duty and responsibility to themselves to engage in appropriate levels of self-determined learning and development, restore self-knowingness and shared cultured living (creatively restored or otherwise) in thrust of their continual ascension and security. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
