Remembering a Great Hero

Afrikan culture has always naturally been fundamental throughout the ages in Afrikan life. It may be obvious to state, yet poignant that you cannot have a highly cultured people void of their culture. Or, to put it another way, a highly civilised people have their civilised way of life. Throughout the Afrikan continuum from the earliest of times, Afrkan souls are renowned to have a profound depth of self-determined authentic cultural influence upon themselves here, there and elsewhere. In this, as culture is pioneered and developed it becomes a shared phenomenon amongst soul people in order that a whole people – at their natural core level of oneness – can realise their optimality wherever located.

To illustrate the point a contemporary mainstream source offers the following detail in relation to fundamental development of the person self:

“Our culture and identity influence our brain development”.

Another mainstream source offers the following description in relation to systems of governance:

“Cultural influences refer to the impact that cultural factors have on shaping political systems. These factors include language, religion, values, norms, traditions, and social practices that influence how people perceive and participate in politics”.

Clearly, the natural norm of self-determined cultural influence demonstrably holds a vital, functional, special and highly influential place in Afrikan life throughout their history continuum, then, now and indeed throughout the tomorrows to come.

Unfortunately, in times of interruption and disruption others that mean the Afrikan ill, may set upon Afrikan culture and its influence upon Afrikan souls in highly destructive ways. Efforts may even be made to erase even the memory of its existence. Yet, if the Afrikan suffers cultural deficit in this regard, it is for the Afrikan to reclaim, and secure their necessary authentic cultural substance – creatively restored or otherwise.

The great hero Omowale Malcolm X, has a profound and far-reaching impact upon the Afrikan world community – here, there and else in regards to Afrikan cultural reclamation and engagement by its people. An observer notes the following in relation to Afrikan souls in the Americas:

“For me, Malcolm was a cultural prophet of blackness. Afrikan-Americans who are proud to be black should thank Malcolm for creating the cultural space that lets us claim our Afrikan heritage”.

As it is for Afrikans in the Americas, so too it is for Afrikan souls here, there and elsewhere.  Such a grand hero can continue to inspire and guide Afrikan souls with profound depths of wisdom today and tomorrow to be their highly cultured selves. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
