Celebrating Focal Places of Empowerment

For Afrikan souls to fulfil their maximum potentials and capabilities a holistic approach to development in their lives has been a natural thrust of normality throughout the ages. Indeed, the soul in the Afrikan worldview is a harmonious, cohesive orchestration of cultivated and developed composite parts. As the soul is functional whole, so too – and by extension - is expressed life in general also is a functional whole. It is from this worldview that the greatest and most enduring civilisations ever to exist came to be. Of course, Afrikan souls were purposeful in their establishment and utilisation of special places that could empower all-round development of themselves.

According to a contemporary mainstream source, the term all-round development is defined in the following way:

“All-round development refers to the process of developing a student in multiple aspects, such as physical, intellectual, emotional, and social. This type of development aims to help students become well-rounded and able to function effectively in all aspects of their life”.

In the context of this discussion, it is deemed pertinent to adjust this sourced meaning for it to specifically relate to and focus upon the Afrikan experience. In so doing, the following may be expressed:

“All-round Afrikan development refers to the process of developing Afrikan souls in multiple aspects, such as spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual, emotional, and social from their own worldview in a self-determined way. This type of development aims to help Afrikans become well-rounded and able to function effectively in all aspects of Afrikan life ascension”.

Another way to say all-round development is with the use of the word holistic. Accordingly, another mainstream source offers the following:

“Simply put, holistic development is the social, emotional, physical, mental, and intellectual growth of a person”.

Again, it is considered apt to adjust this detail to render an Afrikan focus which may produce the following:

“Simply put, Afrikan holistic development includes the self-determined spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth of Afrikan souls for their ascension”.

All-round or holistic Afrikan development is a natural mainstay of Afrikan life. Yet, in times of interruption and disruption by the hands of others that mean the Afrikan ill, there is crucial need for its realisation with Afrikan life and well-being under destructive threat. Only Afrikan souls can – and surely must – bring their self-determined all-round development to the fore. Steps in this regard can be taken from whatever station, level or status an Afrikan soul may hold and from wherever a soul may be located. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
