Celebrating Focal Places of Empowerment

Who is the Afrikan? What is the Afrikan? This is the primary people of creation. These are the soul people of creation. These are the people responsible for the bringing forth culture and civilisation. These are a people that naturally hold a profound depth of knowledge of themselves, and develop and build for themselves accordingly – whether located here, there or elsewhere.

For Afrikan souls identity is neither a norm of fickleness; nor is it unnaturally relegated in err to a fad of aesthetic temporariness as a norm.  Rather, this people embody their wisdom words to ‘know thyself’ in everlasting rootedness for life’s fullest expression and flourishing. Hence, the greatest and most enduring civilisations ever to exist gloriously exhibited their unique Afrikan character and quality.

Unfortunately, in state of interruption and disruption, Afrikan identity can be set upon in intensely destructive ways by others that mean the Afrikan ill. Miseducation and other vices of misinformation pushed and peddled amongst Afrikan souls can become the damaging catalysts for identity denial or identity abandonment. Further, steeped in unknowingness of themselves souls may be susceptible to adoption of pseudo-identity concoctions set to effect disconnection from self, or to effect divide and rule tactics, or to generate confusion, destructive chaos and so on.

According to a contemporary mainstream source the term identity formation is defined as follows:

“Identity formation (or 'identity development') is the process where we begin to develop an understanding of who we are and how we fit into the world around us”.

Certainly, Afrikan identity of ageless normality for this primary people of creation, is far from beginning in the now. Yet, with derailing vices of destructive imposition imposed by others of ill, a sense of ‘newness’ may become apparent when rightfully lifting themselves from a wilderness of unknowingness of what and what they are.

To render the sourced definition, specifically relevant to the experience of Afrikan souls, a few adjustments are considered apt. As a result, the following might then be expressed:

“Afrikan Identity formation (or Afrikan 'identity development') is the process where Afrikans continually develop a deeper and restorative understanding of who they are and their natural place of centrality in the world”.

Afrikan souls need not pretend to be anything other than themselves and can surely have their special places designated to empower restorative development in self-knowingness established and utilised. It matters not where Afrikans are located, nor does it matter what station, level or status an Afrikan may hold, restoration remains key in this regard. After all, civilisation is not of happenstance.
