Celebrating the Great Marcus Garvey and the Garvey Movement

In the upper-part of so-called 20th century the supreme visionary Marcus Garvey faced all-kinds of challenge as he boldly dedicated himself to the betterment of Afrikan souls throughout the world. Much of the challenges are well documented through the extensive materials available about his life-long experience. Certainly, there are many valuable lessons for progressive Afrikan souls in the now and in time to come that can be gained from study of the Garvey experience.  The following points are some experiences and observations gleaned over years of experience, engagement and study on the part of this author in the mission to elevate Afrikan souls that can manifest themselves in today’s time. In no particular order and by no means comprehensive these examples highlight perhaps some of the more subtle means (at least initially) by which progressive organs can be disrupted as Afrikan souls enter the missioning sphere. The focus here is on physical face-to-face contact. However, some of these points may also be usefully translated into the modern-day arena of the digital world. The points are as follows:

Those that join an organ to simply promote other groups, work for other groups and as membership responsibilities wain only have a litany of ‘excuses’ to offer.

Women forming destructive cliques on the basis of alien feminist agendas bogusly poised to attack the misnomer of the ‘enemy monster’ ie. the Afrikan man (especially one in authority) at any given opportunity. This can become laced with false victimhood and exacerbated if corrective action is taken in the case of a feminist-afflicted Afrikan woman. Further, Afrikan men acquiescing to alien feminist agendas to court favour with the feminist-afflicted clique is especially destructive and can amplify destruction with devastating consequences if that afflicted Afrikan man holds an impactful position of leadership or authority.

Strangers attempting to sneak up behind or attempting to weaving their way into close proximity to falsely intimate that they are a part of your life or mission to cause wilful and malicious disruption by association. Accomplices may even be recruited and be poised at-the-ready to take a picture of the fiasco to perhaps generate bogus propaganda for ill should such a soul position themselves in such a way even for a brief moment.

Those that join an organ with a façade to attract the validation of organ’s figure(s) of authority with the intent of being ‘boss’. Far from being a genuine thrust to further progress the mission or elevate Afrikan souls. The want-to-be ‘boss’ is consumed with selfishness for personal gain at the expense of all else. Manipulation, anti-Afrikan propaganda, manufactured dramas and sabotage are amongst the destructive tools used to cause harm.

The non-committal perpetual organ hopper is soul that constantly floats from one organ to the next. Not concerned with any genuine progressive substance, association with the organ that is ‘hot and popular’ particularly with the ‘mainstream’ is the goal. Such a person remains typically for early stages of membership only where presence without any responsibility is the norm. Should responsibility becomes a requirement all manner of ‘excuses’ to ‘bail out’ are brought to the fore.  Meanwhile, and from initial contact, this soul is constantly on the look out for and poised to jump to the next ‘hot thing’.

The ‘half-truth’ or ‘smoke-screen’ specialist with wilfully malicious intent is a soul that will be dishonest but interject something factual to validate overall falsehoods to cause disruption. For example, a person might say they could not undertake a day-long duty as a member as they had to visit a sick personal family member. That may be factual, however the visit was a very short visit for a minor ailment. Meanwhile, the truth is such a ‘specialist’ would use the bulk of the day to engage in activity to bring the organ into disrepute.

Those that commit behavioural acts that go against the organs ethos, have it brought to their attention and avoid dealing with the issue. Rather, than take wholesome corrective action such a person may seek to ignore and deflect by ‘starting fires’ of distraction to falsely and vindictively point the finger at others, especially those in authority.

These points are by no means comprehensive. Yet, such experiences and observations that manifest in organising Afrikan souls can also appear in Afrikan life as a whole. For example, are the above circumstances indicative of ill-behaviours within everyday intimate Afrikan male-female unions? In line with other areas of life, it is therefore important that Afrikan organs, have a clear process to guide Afrikan souls into rightful, honest, upright and proper membership. And whilst, such process provides no absolute guarantees of outcome, does hold measures of security to safeguard existing members and the integrity of the Afrikan mission at hand.  As such, being a part of a progressive organ can be a great boon to purging of alien ills and allow fullest flourishing of Afrikan life within its sphere for those of honest engagement just as honest engagement is a necessary part of the harmonious and complementary Afrikan male-female union of wholesomeness. Disorder is abnormal in self-determined Afrikan life. Rightful order is the progressive, imperative and natural norm.
