Celebration of First Fruits

There is no place that Afrikans find themselves from which they cannot ascend in oneness to maximal glory. The Imani (Faith) Afrikan souls naturally have is of and with the living knowingness these marvellous spirit ones have with the Creator Supreme, the sacred universe and themselves. Throughout annual cycles from the beginning this mighty first people of creation have nurtured, developed and safeguarded their ascension through spiritual and cultural living. Even, from the devastating disruptions of the alien enemy imposed Maafa, the Afrikan organically employs the spiritual and cultural tools for maximum potential to be realised. In this, living knowingness of the unique Afrikan experience in the world is key. An important example from an Afrikan wisdom guide in the great pantheon of practitioners of Afrikan guidance comes the chronicle of stages the Afrikan experiences from a state of dire unknowing to knowingness of self as follows:

Stage One: Pre-encounter

‘In the pre-encounter stage a person is programmed to view and think of the world as being non-[Afrikan], anti-[Afrikan] or the opposite of [Afrikan]’.

Stage Two: Encounter

Encountering ‘some experience that manages to slip by or even shatters the person’s current feeling about him [or herself] and his [or her] interpretation of the condition of [Afrikans in the world]’.

Stage Three: Immersion

‘In this period the person immerses him [or herself] in the [Afrikan] world’.

Stage Four: Internalisation

‘internalise and incorporate aspects of the immersion…experience into their self-concept. They achieve a felling of inner security and are more satisfied with themselves’.

Stage Five: Internalisation-Commitment

‘a Brother or Sister begins to “live” in accordance with a new self-image, he or she will eventually become the new identity’

These conceptualised markers can be a useful tool of self-assessment in the state of Afrikan beingness in the imperative of progressive transformation from the imposition of anti-Afrikan conditioning to the restoration of Afrikan living.

With the imposition of all manner of alien vices in the temporary period of the Maafa, understanding transformative Afrikan process can be of great value. This is so, not only in must of forward, upward and ever-greater progression but also to avoid regression and to safeguard the imperative mission for Afrikan progress.

It accounts for the manufactured synthetic alien-imposed existence of apathy and unknowingness deployed to suppress Afrikan souls.  It also, inherently points to enemy strategy to keep Afrikans locked in the stage of pre-encounter in order to maximise ill-intent of disuse and abuse (at best).

Afrikan souls must surely pick up the mantle of self-determined, sustained and victorious progressive transformation through the restoration of spiritual and cultural fabric in their lives now and for the generations to come.

Throughout the year and from Afrikan spiritual and cultural observance to observance Afrikan souls can progressively transform themselves at the most rooted and deeply meaningful levels. The victories of which can then culminate in bountiful glory of annual achievement celebrated during Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is also a time to rededicate and recommit to progressive transformation for the forthcoming annual cycle.
