Celebration of First Fruits

There is no place that Afrikans find themselves from which they cannot ascend in oneness to maximal glory. The Imani (Faith) Afrikan souls naturally have is of and with the living knowingness these marvellous spirit ones have with the Creator Supreme, the sacred universe and themselves. Throughout annual cycles from the beginning this mighty first people of creation have nurtured, developed and safeguarded their ascension through spiritual and cultural living. Even, from the devastating disruptions of the alien enemy imposed Maafa, the Afrikan organically employs the spiritual and cultural tools for maximum potential to be realised. In this, living knowingness of the unique Afrikan experience in the world is key. An important example from an Afrikan wisdom guide in the great pantheon of practitioners of Afrikan guidance comes the chronicle of stages the Afrikan experiences from a state of abject dormancy unable to operate in service of self to a state of progressive engagement as follows:

The Non-Liberator

‘The individuals psychological functioning is directed towards the maximisation of his or her personal survival. The determinants of this goal include, but are not limited to, inadequate early racial socialisation, cold complicity with the oppressor, and the individual’s cognitions reflecting miseducation or information deficits’

The Reactive Struggler

‘The reactive struggler possesses a personality structure devoid of certain attributes including courage, decisiveness, feelings of worth, and clarity of self. S(he) is unable to direct proactive efforts toward liberation. Furthermore, similar to the Non-Liberator the Reactive Struggler lacks the Afrikan sense of a collective or extended self.’

The Opportunistic Individual

‘In contrast to the two previously discussed orientations, at first glance the opportunistic individual appears to be committed to our collective liberation. This, however, is not the case because this individual espouses a liberation ideology which is not coterminous with his or her behaviour. This incongruence culminates in a lifestyle that is inconsistent with the [fight for liberty], and in several instances can prove inimical to the collective interests of [Afrikan people]’.

The Partially Committed Liberator

‘The Partially Committed Liberator orientation represents the closet approximation to the ideal orientation. The person possessing this orientation has some appreciation for the historical and contemporary effects of racism, colonisation and oppression on [Afrikan people].This enables the partially committed person to display proactive and self-directed actions toward our liberation. However, at the same time this person is only partially committed to the [fight for liberty] because s(he) is not fully prepared to accept the absolute consequences associated with [the fight]. The fundamental explanation for this observation is that the partially committed individual is integrating Africentric thoughts, attitudes and behaviours. This process is often rife with conflict because the partially committed individual is attempting to straddle two cultures – the European [or other foreign culture] and the Afrikan.’

The Authentic Liberator

‘The Authentic Liberator accepts that the liberation of the [Afrikan] is facilitated when, at the individual level, the person of Afrikan [ascent] sees value in self. Thus the Authentic Liberator is dedicated to his or her Afrikan self and by extension to [the  Afrikan nation]. Behavioural manifestations of this level of dedication involves not allowing the oppression of people of Afrikan [ascent]. The Authentic Liberator lives in accordance with Afrikan-centred attidutes, and places great value on the interconnectedness of Afrikan people.

The Authentic Liberator is a person of culture. This person functions on the assumption that Afrikan cultural realities of unity, reciprocity, and respect for the sacredness of [Afrikan life] are critical in the [fight] for liberation. The consciousness of the Authentic Liberator is informed by our collective history and common concern. In brief, this ideal liberator is [deeply] in love [with] the race and consistently [works] for our uplift.’

Afrikans at the Pre-encounter stage (as discussed in part 1 of this series) or the Non-liberator stage of less-than-self existence is the main recruitment ground for foreign enemy forces. Foreign institutions (in whatever guise) perpetuate a stratagem of mis-engineering Afrikan souls to produce a repository of Afrikans unknowing of self – (Afrikans rendered unable to act in their own interest). From this wickedness the enemy is bent on recruiting all the assistance required to perpetuate world ills. The susceptible Afrikan souls steeped in unknowingness and who are mis-directed, processed, validated, awarded (even) to become all-too-willing ‘objects’ to engage in the ideals of pseudo-success that have been designed and shaped by the anti-Afrikan alien himself.

It is from this dire circumstance that the Afrikan can be financially endowed and have no self-determined economy. This is where ‘stars’ of the entertainment arena can exhibit or popularise the worst behaviours encouraging Afrikan destruction. This is where the Afrikan engages in a role of ‘teaching’ but is void of living Afrikan wisdom and unable to teach it. It is where the Afrikan is ‘educated’ and is rendered unknowing of self. It is where the Afrikan has a role of ‘leader’ but leads his or her own people into enslavement. It is here that the Afrikan joins progressive Afrikan organisation and behaves in ways to bring about its destruction. The examples are many and the fostering or maintenance of the Pre-encounter or Non-liberator imposition can be a great boon for foreign enemy forces. Afrikans must set and attain progressive and meaningful goals of success of true substance on a self-determined basis.

Victoriously, progressive transformation through these stages is a glorious harvest of all-year-round Afrikan cultivation and nurturing. Moving from Pre-Encounter or Non-Liberator stages into Afrikan life’s fullest spiritual and cultural flourishing is Afrikan magnificence manifest.  Kwanzaa is a wonderful time for celebrating such bountiful growth. There will surely come a time when the imposed existence of Pre-Encounter or Non-Liberator are no more and Afrikans of the world continue their onward progression toward ever-greater divine perfectibility. In celebrating Kwanzaa Afrikan souls have the time to celebrate the glory of self.
