All-Year-Round Cultivation

By the grace of the Creator Supreme, Afrikans of the world naturally hold living knowingness of the Ultimate Divine. Afrikans of the world naturally hold living knowingness of sacred universe.  Afrikans of the world naturally hold living knowingness of themselves. Afrikans of the world naturally hold living knowingness of the imperative thrust and engagement in the building, development, maintenance and protection of their own progressive, functional and thriving institutions of male-female harmonious union, family, community, nation and global Afrikan ascension at large. This is the living knowingness that is vitally energised through the spirituality that is naturally lived and expressed by Afrikan souls. In this, the spirituality of Afrikan is not separate, unrelated nor contradictory to progressive and cultured life that is lived. Rather, it permeates life from its core place of centrality in life to provide necessary empowerment for the panorama of life’s endeavours of institutional building, development, maintenance and protection. For the Afrikan this is rooted spirituality in oneness with rooted and cultured living for life’s elevation.

Despite the devasting impact of others that mean the Afrikan ill in recent times, Afrikan souls continue their onward and upward journey of ascension through the restoration of cultured living. This is profoundly expressed through the observance of Kwanzaa, which is often regarded as a cultural observance – and it is. Yet, it is also a vehicle of spirit because it emerges from and caters for the spirit people of creation who naturally never cast aside or leave their spiritual substance behind. Indeed, such a dire notion would be tantamount to the Afrikan ceasing to be.  Therefore, the observance of Kwanzaa and its aspects that are with the Afrikan throughout the annual cycle provide the Afrikan with a basic framework of spiritual functioning that is accessible and relevant to Afrikans throughout the world. Further, it is a framework of rootedness that empowers engagement in the necessary roles for upward and onward missioning in life. Here, Afrikan Spirituality by way of Kwanzaa (ASBWOK) is manifest.

ASBWOK therefore is energising thrust in Afrikan family, community, nation and race. The Kiswahili words for this vital institutions are: Familia, Jamii, Taifa, Asili (respectively). Each of these areas are necessarily organised through self-determined, self-defined Afrikan effort. The great hero Omowale Malcolm X had a tremendous and deeply profound impact on the process that brought forth Kwanzaa. Here are a few words from the great one himself on the organised thrust for Afrikan ascension:

‘We are attempting to make this organisation one in which any serious-minded [Afrikan] can actively participate…With all of the combined…talent and know-how, we do believe that we can devise a program that will shake the world. Frankly, that’s what we need to do – shake the world. We don’t need to duplicate anything that has been done with all this politeness and compromise and so forth, we need to find our what is necessary to be done, and do it, no matter whether they like it or not. First, analyse it, find out what is necessary to be done, and then let’s do it’.

This deeply spiritual grand hero knew and understood clearly that life is to be engaged in. Spirituality of the Afrikan empowers engagement for life’s success, achievements and victories. ASBWOK is not a conclusion of life but a way to give rise to concrete and practical gains for the betterment of Afrikan souls.

Universal Royal Afrikan Spirituality of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation utilises ASBWOK. Here, Afrikan Spirituality is a vital part of life’s functioning.  It is a living of wholesome oneness where the various observance times of year each have there spiritual-cultural symbols and focus all in complementary and harmonious fabric, each observance to the next. And of course, the grand annual yield of growth, development, achievement, progress, elevation and so on are celebrated during the Kwanzaa observance celebratory period itself.

The Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN) is an organ that is rooted in spiritual and cultural fabric for the imperative the mission of global Afrikan ascendancy. Throughout its annual observance calendar cycle URAN energises active knowingness in and from the core spirit levels of Afrikan beingness.
