Remembering the Great Hero Omowale Malcolm X

Knowing the self is of fundamental importance to the primary
people of Creation no matter the age in which they are located (whether that is
considered to be the classical age of old, the contemporary age of the now, or
the future age of the tomorrows to come). Afrikan souls naturally hold living
remembrance of themselves in their own identity, their own way of life and
continual self-determined ascension, then, now and tomorrow.
With the disruptions and interruptions of the Maafa of recent centuries others that mean the Afrikan ill have taken it upon themselves to intentionally remove, deny or misrepresent Afrikan identity in one way or another.
According to a popular mainstream platform the word identity is defined as:
“the fact of being who or what a person or thing is”.
Surely Afrikan souls have a natural right to be themselves. In concise yet deeply meaningful articulation about self-identity, the great hero Omowale Malcolm X energies self-knowingness in the Afrikan person self thus:
“One of the reasons that it is bad for us to continue just to refer to ourselves as. ‘so-called Negro’ – that’s negative. When we say, ‘so-called Negro’, that’s pointing out what we aren’t, but it isn’t telling us what we are. We are Afrikan and we happen to be in America”.
These profound words uttered to reach Afrikan souls in America are rightly applicable to Afrikan souls wherever Afrikan souls are located. It is therefore appropriate and progressively meaningful to say, ‘We are Afrikan and we happen to be in Europe’ or ‘We are Afrikan and we happen to be in the so-called Caribbean’ or ‘We are Afrikan and we happen to be in Canada’ or ‘We are Afrikan and we happen to be in South America’ and so on.
This even applies to continent of Afrika itself where it is rightly applicable for Afrikan souls to say, ‘We are Afrikan and we happen to be within the borders imposed by European forces at the Berlin conference called Ghana’ or ‘We are Afrikan and we happen to be within the borders imposed by foreign forces at the Berlin conference called Nigeria’ – or Kenya, or South Afrika or Mali (or wherever else on the great and mighty continent).
At the person-self level Afrikan souls must surely reclaim, restore and be themselves. The alien concocted and imposed political boundaries or forced dispersals are surely not the rooted totality of beingness for this primary people of the world.
In addition, the great hero Omowale Malcolm X brings plain clarity to the Afrikan male-female dynamic in a conversation with Afrikan women, he reminds them, “You’re feminine and he’s masculine”. Therefore, at the person self level there is naturally present not just men and women but the Afrikan masculine man and the Afrikan feminine woman.
The great hero Omowale Malcolm X also importantly reminds Afrikan person selves throughout the Afrikan world that remembering themselves is key:
“Of all our studies, history is best qualified to reward our research”.
