Remembering the Great Omowale Malcolm X

By the grace of Creator Supreme, Afrikan souls have established themselves as the world’s greatest builders from the beginning. For Afrikan souls in the now even to make the time to take a cursory look at their own experience in the world, it would reveal their natural self-determined thrust of superlative building. The world’s greatest and most long-lived civilisations are forged into being by Afrikan genius flow. In any age memory of self is vital to this primary people. The fundamental imperative of self-memory does not change even if there is interruption or disruption to the Afrikan continuum.

In this regard, the great hero Omowale Malcolm X insightfully articulates the Afrikan experience this way:

“The [Afrikan] man by nature is a builder, he is scientific by nature, he’s mathematical by nature. Rhythm is mathematics, harmony is mathematics. It’s balance. And the [Afrikan] man is balanced. Before you and I came over here, we were so well balanced we could toss something on our head and run with it. You can’t even run with your hat now – you can’t keep it on. Because you lost your balance. You’ve gotten away from yourself. But when you in tune with yourself, your very nature has harmony, has rhythm, has mathematics. You can build.”.

Self-knowingness and the restoration of the Afrikan self for self-determined building requires the vital thrust of Afrikan souls remembering themselves. A powerful expression of building is brought to the fore in Afrikan nationhood. Of course, others that mean the Afrikan ill may (in futility) take it upon themselves to attempt to thwart Afrikan memory recall and building through finagling.

According to a popular mainstream platform the word finagle means to:

“act in a dishonest or devious manner”.

The great Omowale Malcolm X shares his profound analysis on the subject:

“Very seldom, if you notice, will you find whites who can in any way put up with [Afrikan] nationalists. Haven’t you ever wondered why? I mean even the most liberal white can’t go along with this [Afrikan] nationalism. He can’t, he just can’t stomach it. But he can go along with anything that’s integrated, because he knows he can get in there and finagle it, and have you walking backwards, thinking you’re walking forwards. No, we don’t want that”.

Afrikan souls must surely fulfil their natural role, duty and responsibility to themselves and build for Afrikan nationhood. Any devious, dishonest or other strategies employed by others that mean the Afrikan ill ought surely to be safeguarded against for Afrikan life to fully flourish.

In this, remembering the self is key as the great Omowale Malcolm X reminds Afrikan souls that:

“Of all our studies, history is best qualified to reward our research”.
