The Progressive, Transformative Power of the Afrikan Spirit

From the dawning of Creation, the special ones who hold the premiership in being the first of humanity have expressed themselves in the most genius and spirit filled ways that has brought an abundance of brilliancy into the world. Throughout the most glorious and expansive history the Afrikan has cultivated the spirit soul of self to deliver onto the plateau of the earth the greatest and longest lived civilisations to flourish. The ever prolific philosophy and practice of Afrikan transformative power to continually ascend in life’s unfolding to become ever closer in proximity to the supreme force of the universe and perfectibility has been a living fabric since time immemorial.
The reality of the recent and historically short but continuing period of interruption by the hands of anti-Afrikan forces has not rendered the natural fibre of transformative power absent. On the contrary, whilst the impact of enemy forces may have the consequence of a temporary subduing or suppressing of its natural expression the transformative power of the Afrikan Spirit awaits in every Afrikan soul its calling to again shine its light of excellency upon the world.
Out of the great pantheon of heroes and sheroes that have delivered outstanding examples of courage, leadership and progressive mission, Omowale Malcolm X embodies a powerful example of the progressive transformative power of Afrikan spirit.
The lessons that can be gleaned from Omowale’s life and mission for the uplift of a whole people and from the courageous battles with the destructive, hostile enemy forces he fought so gallantly to vanquish are many. From the foundations laid in his upbringing inside a home where his parents held important roles within the prolific Garvey Movement to the imposition of enemy talons that swooped in to rip a progressive Afrikan people apart with ripping swipes of death and destruction; there is much to glean.
Out of the rubble and debris of imposed and extreme dire circumstance Omowale rose to the exemplary heights of Afrikan manhood and set a clear path to re-organise himself and organise the multitude of Afrikan souls for liberty and nationhood.
This is a powerful journey and a magnificent example of the progressive transformative power of the Afrikan spirit. In this time and space the efforts of those that mean the Afrikan ill by way of mis-education, derailment and other destructive means are ever-present. For Afrikan people to be continually hurled into behavioural forms that are at best unhelpful to Afrikan betterment – and at worst contribute to the racial genocide of self is abominable.
Surely then, progressive transformation is key for every Afrikan soul in this time to expunge all of the imposed ills in order to become energised in such a way as to bring about that ever-grand ascendancy towards the greatest force of the universe.
This is a very special month because it is at this time that the life and powerful example of this great hero is honoured as a result of his tragic and brutally forced transition into the ancestral realm. This martyred warrior of the exceptional order has delivered an experience that reflects the magnificent spirit of freedom that continues to lift the imperative thrust for complete Afrikan ascendancy in this generation and for generations to come.
In studying the life of this great hero (even at a cursory level), one is surely able to gain insights to imbibe the spirit and the strength for progressive transformation in the here and now.
It is out of the imperative continuum for the thrust to attain and maintain Afrikan liberty that the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation was born and was publicly and aptly launched at its premier Omowale Malcom X Kukumbuko (remembrance) observance in the so-called year 2014. Here then, is an Afrikan-centred mission for progressive transformation with a spiritual and cultural core. Please visit www.u-ran.org for more details.
