Afrikan life carries a thrust of powerful progression that
is evident throughout the ages. As one generation expresses life through its
journey of progression, the next generation continues on from the elevated plateau that has been established for new levels ascension to be built upon by generations to come and so on.
Progress is necessarily transformative from one state or level of being to the
next. In the grand expression of Afrikan life continual ascension is
necessarily transformative as rising implies that there is a state from which
the rise can take place. It is normal for Afrikan souls to ascend in their own
self-determined and self-beneficial thrust of beingness. Though there are times when stillness is important
to life functioning and having a level of stability in life can be highly
valued - a notion of being ‘static’ is nonsensical in Afrikan life. Afrikan souls hold divine calling to lift
themselves in rightful order as they raise their person selves, their
harmonious and complementary male-female unions, their families, their communities,
their nations and their world Afrikan community in the best ways possible. It is from this that pinnacle civilisation comes to be.
According to a popular mainstream source transformation is defined as being:
“a marked change in form, nature, or appearance”.
A marked change can occur in a number of ways hence the qualifier of progressive which according to the same source can mean “forward motion” or relate to “increases”. Therefore, at a basic level, progressive transformation here means to change with forward motion and with increases to Afrikan life.
This fundamental thrust can be especially pronounced as vital in times of interruption and disruption such as the Maafa of recent centuries. It is for the Afrikan to lift themselves into their rightful place of order and optimality. This necessarily requires progressive transformation. A less than state of existence is at best undesirable that ought to be transformed into a state of functional order. And any Afrikan living with knowingness of themselves surely is desirous of life to be of natural functional order.
In agricultural terms seed are sown nurtured and cultivated for the growth and produce of crops for a bountiful harvest. A seed does not remain a seed. The seed produces a plant which may in turn produce fruit throughout the relevant seasons. This can be described as a process of progressive transformation. Likewise, the Afrikan can nurture, cultivate and develop the various levels of self to produce the bountiful yields of life flourishing for the Afrikan person self, the Afrikan harmonious and complementary male-female union, Afrikan family, Afrikan community, Afrikan nation and Afrikan world community as progression takes place through cultural seasons. This is surely a process of progressive transformation to be engaged in. Or, alternatively, a nonsensical approach could be to have cognisance of dire circumstance and conditions for Afrikan souls and do nothing and allow sheer survival existence to descend into doom. Such an approach is wholly unnatural and wreaks of rampant disorder and self-contempt allowing others that mean the Afrikan ill to stoke their imposed fires of destruction then sit by the wayside rubbing their hand with glee.
Progressive transformation is an all-year-round purposeful endeavour year-on-year. Afrikan souls surely can and must continue to restore and rise to optimal life order and functioning. The bountiful yields and victories from efforts made throughout he annual cycle can certainly then be celebrated as a part of the wonderful Kwanzaa observance period for Kwanzaa has its roots in grand and successful harvesting.
