Remembering the Great Omowale Malcolm X

Self-knowingness for the Afrikan from the beginning is
principally energised by the Creator Supreme. By extension, it is naturally
woven into the fabric of Afrikan life with the self-determined thrust of their
own spiritual and cultural living. In this regard self-consciousness,
self-knowingness and self-remembering is not confined exclusively to the realms
of sheer memory recall and intellectual processing. Rather, as a natural norm
it permeates lived experience. Therefore, the Afrikan person self naturally
holds self-consciousness, self-knowingness and self-remembering in order to maximally
flourish. The harmonious and complementary Afrikan male-female union naturally
holds self-consciousness, self-knowingness and self-remembering in order to
maximally flourish. The Afrikan family naturally holds self-consciousness,
self-knowingness and self-remembering in order to maximally flourish. The Afrikan
community naturally holds self-consciousness, self-knowingness and
self-remembering in order to maximally flourish. The Afrikan nation naturally
holds self-consciousness, self-knowingness and self-remembering in order to maximally
flourish and so on.
With the interruptions and disruptions of the Maafa of recent centuries, others that mean the Afrikan ill have set upon this primary people of the world and have attempted to crush self-consciousness, self-knowingness and self-remembering both on Afrikan soil and throughout the Afrikan world.
The great hero Omowale Malcolm X insightfully draws this to the attention of Afrikan souls when he says:
“You’re not ignorant accidentally, he manoeuvrers you into ignorance”.
He goes on the insightfully point out that:
“Propaganda, they believe in propaganda. Psychological warfare for the mind of man. For your mind, for your body, for your soul, for your allegiance. Propaganda warfare. Propaganda is constantly being put upon you. By the newspapers, by the television, by the magazines, by comic books, by everything – designed to brainwash you”.
And this of course includes new media vices such as social media. He goes on to state that:
“They ‘re not fit to be walking around here telling you to look like they do, or imitate them. No, they learned civilisation from you. They learned culture from you. They learned how to wear clothes from you. They learned how to cook their food from you. They learned mathematics from you. They learned science from you. Why the [Afrikan] man in Afrika had mastered the arts and sciences, way back yonder. He mastered the mathematical sciences, the astronomical sciences – to the extent where he could plot the course of the stars in the universe”.
Yet, whether the Afrikan is in Afrika, in the Americas, in the Islands, in Europe (or wherever else in the world), it is only Afrikan souls themselves that can lift the veil of imposed chaos and confusion to reveal their truly powerful selves, their oneness with each other and securely build accordingly. With such effort surely the natural upright self-respect and dignity of the Afrikan way (each Afrikan to the next) will be restored.
Lived self-consciousness, lived self-knowingness, lived remembering of self is rightful order that is restored with restoration of self-determined spiritual-cultural fabric on the continent of Afrikan and throughout the Afrikan world. As the great hero Omowale Malcolm X insightfully articulates:
“We must have a permanent solution. A temporary solution won’t do”.
To neglect Afrikan life fundamentals allows the ignorance that opens the door to alien ills such as that of misandry, misogyny, feminism and otherwise to contaminate these primary souls of creation. And if not these contaminates, then others that may also be conjured up and peddled by alien forces of anti-Afrikan agency may have fertile ground with the susceptible unknowing Afrikan in the future.
Active engagement in the restoration of lived self-knowingness and remembrance is surely then vital Afrikan activity. The great hero Omowale Malcolm X therefore reminds Afrikan souls that:
“Of all of our studies, history is best qualified to reward our research”.
