Divinity in the Contemporary World

The spiritual formulation of ASBWOK (Afrikan Spirituality By Way
of Kwanzaa) both harmonises with the cultural fabric of Kwanzaa and the Nguzo
Saba (Seven Principles) as well as with the various expressions of regional traditions
of Afrika. It certainly does not negate the upright practices within any
locale. Instead, it provides a framework
on the spiritual plain that can be shared throughout the Afrikan world
punctuating the rooted oneness that Afrikan souls hold. ASBWOK is therefore, is
dynamic in its substance as it provides a spiritually unifying vehicle for existing
practitioners of a local tradition whilst also providing a vehicle of spiritual
engagement for those Afrikans that have no local tradition and wish to engage
with Afrikan spirituality.
ASBWOK has a number of core themes that are commonalities within the natural norm Afrikan life.
Core themes within ASBWOK are:
1) Living knowingness of the Creator Supreme
2) Living knowingness of the Great Ancestors
3) Living knowingness of the self
4) Application of the shrine
5) Purposeful ingathering
Living Knowingness of the Creator Supreme
It is no happenstance that Afrikan people have always held living knowingness of the Creator Supreme and aspects of the Creator spiritually personified as deities. Afrikan people know that energised with the empowerment of the Ultimate Divine that their lives are maximally self-determined into fullest expression and flourishing. The Creator Supreme is ever-present in the lives of Afrikan souls and the Afrikan naturally expresses life accordingly at whatever level. Spiritually personified aspects of the Creator Supreme are the deities that provide specialised energy focus and wisdom guidance in Afrikan life. As such, the Afrikan is provided with the grand divine impetus to create, build, maintain, develop and safeguard their own maximally. The Ultimate Divine established and orchestrates the sacred universe with structure and order for its magnificent being and functioning. Likewise, the Afrikan surely must establish self-determined civilisation in natural brilliancy of rightful order.
The interruptions and disruptions imposed by alien forces of ill such as those of the Maafa in recent centuries have attempted to sever the Afrikan from living knowingness of their Creator Supreme and the Afrikan way. As a result, a barrage of alien contaminates of ill have been peddled by alien forces of anti-Afrikan agency for Afrikan consumption. In this, the Afrikan must surely not succumb. For the Creator Supreme in Afrikan life absolutely does not mean the deification of misandry, misogyny, feminism or any other alien injected ‘ism’ or ‘scism’ of ill. Only the Afrikan can fully restore living knowingness of the Creator Supreme for themselves and safeguard against alien ills penetrating their lives. This primary people of creation have an intimate interconnectedness with the Ultimate Divine as the first-born of humanity like no other, and surely must exercise their divine responsibility to rightful order to prevail.
In Kiswahili the name that identifies the Creator Supreme is Mungu.
Kimungu Madhabahuni is a time of year to celebrate the Afrikan shrine at home and beyond. Kimungu Madhabahuni takes place during the holiday period associated with the spring equinox. At this time many people are away from the mundane of the various institutions albeit largely as a dictate of presently popular foreign religious doctrine. This therefore, can allow many more Afrikan people the time and space to restore, elevate and be themselves freely in reverence at their own special places.Throughout the annual cycle of the spiritual and cultural calendar of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation observance to observance, Afrikan life is endowed with the essential of living knowingness.
