Divinity in the Contemporary World

The spiritual formulation of ASBWOK (Afrikan Spirituality By Way of Kwanzaa) both harmonises with the cultural fabric of Kwanzaa and the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles) as well as with the various expressions of regional traditions of Afrika. It certainly does not negate the upright practices within any locale. Instead, it provides a framework on the spiritual plain that can be shared throughout the Afrikan world punctuating the rooted oneness that Afrikan souls hold. ASBWOK is therefore, is dynamic in its substance as it provides a spiritually unifying vehicle for existing practitioners of a local tradition whilst also providing a vehicle of spiritual engagement for those Afrikans that have no local tradition and wish to engage with Afrikan spirituality.
ASBWOK has a number of core themes that are commonalities within the natural norm Afrikan life.
Core themes within ASBWOK are:
1) Living knowingness of the Creator Supreme
2) Living knowingness of the Great Ancestors
3) Living knowingness of the self
4) Application of the shrine
5) Purposeful ingathering
Purposeful Ingathering
Ingathering for the Afrikan is an act of rightful order that is necessary and empowering throughout the various levels of the self. To gather oneself at the person self level is to be ‘collected’ and ordered as a functional Afrikan masculine man or as a functional Afrikan feminine woman. Here, each vital part of the soul is cultivated, nurtured, developed and expressed accordingly. Activity to engage in the spiritual solace of the person-self that is purposeful for pragmatic ascension and the greater good is can be of great importance and can take various forms. Likewise, at the immediately amplified level of the harmonious and complementary male-female union the spiritual ingathering of both parties to energise oneness at this level with regularity and purpose for pragmatic ascension and the greater good is of great importance and can also take various forms specific to this level. The Afrikan family, community and nation, each an amplification of the level of self which precedes it, naturally are empowered through spiritual ingathering for purposeful ascension and the greater good. Of course, the haven of self-determined Afrikan shrine space is profoundly meaningful here.
At the world community level spiritual ingathering for Afrikan souls can be of great importance. Here, the spiritual formulation of ASBWOK (Afrikan Spirituality By Way of Kwanzaa) can be of great use. So, whether the Afrikan is a practitioner of Yoruba tradition, the Asante tradition, the Zulu tradition, the Kikuyu tradition Vudon, Santeria, Candomble, Kemetic tradition and so on spiritual oneness can be explicitly emphasised, asserted and empowered with ASBWOK.
As ASBWOK does not negate regional Afrikan traditions but rather necessarily holds a harmonising and complementary posture one could say, ‘I am a Yoruba Practitioner with ASBWOK’, or, ‘I am an Asante Practitioner with ASBWOK’ or, ‘I am a Zulu Practitioner with ASBWOK’, or, ‘I am a Kikuyu Practitioner with ASBWOK’. or, ‘I am a Kemetic Science Practitioner with ASBWOK’, and so on. For those with no existing traditional spiritual practice operational in their lives, ASBWOK provides a vehicle for spiritual engagement in which one could simply state, ‘I am a Practitioner of ASBWOK’. Thus, at the global level through shared spiritual focus on the levels of the Afrikan self, oneness and the ability to ingather throughout the world can be restored and expressed in natural normality through whatever appropriate means for purposeful ascension and the fullest flourishing of Afrikan souls throughout the world.
Despite the destructive efforts of others that mean the Afrikan ill to divide and rule or otherwise thwart Afrikan oneness, it is only through the victorious effort of Afrikan souls themselves that can restore rightful order. This primary and spirit people of creation hold a naturally rooted oneness that central in the sacred universe.
Kimungu Madhabahuni is a time of year to celebrate the Afrikan shrine at home and beyond. Kimungu Madhabahuni takes place during the holiday period associated with the spring equinox. At this time many people are away from the mundane of the various institutions albeit largely as a dictate of presently popular foreign religious doctrine. This therefore, can allow many more Afrikan people the time and space to restore, elevate and be themselves freely in reverence at their own special places.Throughout the annual cycle of the spiritual and cultural calendar of the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation observance to observance, Afrikan life is endowed with the essential of living knowingness.
