A Key Celebratory Cycle

Special anniversary years have been celebrated from the earliest phase of the Afrikan experience. The various rhythmic cycles of the universe have been harnessed in celebration and given life through the vast array of beautiful Afrikan life expressions. From the positioning of the stars to the honorarium of deities, times that mark great victory and achievement to reaping the rewards of a harvest, annual celebrations have been key to the life of the illustrious spirit people. Amongst much else, these regular intervals of time harness the power of rededication, recommitment, reflection and projection in the forward ever-ascending thrust of purpose-filled life. Such cycles were and are key in the holistic spiritual and cultural life of this special people. This is an aspect of the Afrikan experience that has been key in yielding the most magnificent achievements of civilisation that are known to the world.

In this time, the importance of spiritual and cultural cycles are evermore important in the drive for the imperative re-attainment and maintenance of Afrikan liberty and nationhood. Throughout the recent and temporary phase of brutal disruptions by enemy forces (the Maafa), there has been an unending multitude of great victories and achievement to celebrate and lift the Afrikan soul to the greater heights of freedom whether world renowned or simply known to person(s) within an immediate locale. Engagement in the global system of Afrikan ascendancy involves forthright effort at every level in which every Afrikan soul surely has a responsibility as liberty is a must. In stealth or visibly expressive the global fabric for Afrikan freedom can be woven into the cloth of everyday life.

As such, in the locale of Birmingham (UK) on this day, the 11th of so-called August 2013 the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN) was born. The inception took place during the wonderful cultural observance of Musa Msimu (Garvey season) honouring the supreme visionary Marcus Garvey and the Garvey Movement. The 11th day of the month was selected because it was the principle earthstrong wish of URAN’s founder and the soul at the helm of this organ (this author) to provide this imperative mission. Within URAN this day is known as URANiversary and is celebrated annually. With the cultural observance of Musa Msimu and the other cultural observances spanning a richly endowed cultural calendar, life within URAN is progressively transformational. It is an organ built for ascendancy.

With the distinct drive to live its spiritual and cultural mission, this organ’s inception represents the culmination of many years of accumulated practice, study and engagement. Uranniversary celebrates the beginning of a journey based upon the best of the great Afrikan experience to elevate the mighty spirit people to their maximum potential and maximum capability. For to realise the grand achievement is to engage in the progressive organic process of elevation of Afrikan lifetimes past, those in the present and of those lifetimes to come. In other words, the grand achievement of ultimate victory is yet to come and will be manifest based upon informed effort and vision projection. The continuum of uplift must be incessant inherently purging and safeguarding Afrikan souls from the ills of enemy imposition in mission to bring about the ultimate victory for this magnificent people.
