A Word On Propaganda

The Creator supreme brought forth humanity by way of the Afrikan soul and since the emergence of life’s premiership people greatness has continued to flow from millennia to millennia. The ever expanding pantheon of great ones is powerful and immense for the Afrikan as this magnificent spirit people of Creation continue to lift themselves toward pinnacle ascendancy.  Superlative genius flow throughout the totality of life’s endeavours has been the order of the Afrikan continuum since being birthed as the first of humanity. Naturally, foreign impositions such as attempted invasions met strong Afrikan societies with many great ones that expressed genius flow in thwarting alien inroads and safeguarding Afrikan uplift.

Despite the Maafa (great disaster) of recent centuries that has come about as a result of foreign invasion magnificence in Afrikan leadership has made itself manifest. On this day the 17th of so-called August 1887 the supreme visionary and emperor Marcus Garvey was birthed into the physical realm. This magnificent hero opened Afrikan eyes around world to the reality of their conditions and provided the brilliant light of ascendancy to Afrikans to not only climb from enemy degradation but also the path to nationhood for a whole people on a scale unmatched. This mighty legacy continues and the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation (URAN) has the imprint of this powerful legacy at its core. As such, within URAN this period of observance is called Musa Msimu which spans the entirety of the month celebrates this day of the 17th commemorating this most special earthstrong of a supreme hero.

Marcus Garvey is a visionary of pinnacle excellence and  in his exceptional acumen as an emperor with profound leadership in spirituality, governance, defence, journalism, oratorical expression amongst much else in service for the liberty and nationhood of Afrikan souls. Certainly in this time enemy forces continue to work in an attempt to keep Afrikan souls away from their true selves and experience in the world. For sure, the Afrikan must be self-determining in lifting knowledge of self as anything else surely allows in the perpetration of falsity from the enemy.

Today, whether through film, television, cyberspace or whatever a key vehicle that is used to sway Afrikan minds is that of propaganda. Enemy forces rely heavily on their machinery of propaganda. Much by way of devastation has been unleashed through the vehicle of enemy propaganda. Fundamentally, propaganda is simply the message of communication en-masse and can be a positive endeavour outside of wicked enemy intent.  On this day of the 17th a word from the great Garvey himself insightfully explains this phenomena:

“Propaganda means to propagate or to make known extensively some particular phase of human intelligence. The desire is to convert or influence the people to the acceptance of the truth of that particular intelligence that is sought to be spread among them.

Propaganda can be true or false in its origin or intent; but it is always directed at the public for the purpose of winning the support of that public to the sentiment expressed in the propaganda. If you hate a man, giving him a bad name well may explain one of the purposes of propaganda without truth behind it.

Nearly all organised efforts have a system of propaganda to convert people to their principles and get them to support them even though there may be no merit behind it all.

Propaganda is all around you…The press, cinema, pulpit, schoolroom are all propaganda agencies for one thing or another. The pulpit carries religious propaganda, the schoolroom carries educational propaganda, the press carries out written propaganda, the platform carries oral propaganda. These methods have been devised by the white man to spread his ideas universally among men. That is why he is able, in a major sense, to control the minds of the people of the world. “

Awareness of this and the other ills that confront the Afrikan today is simply the initial stage. Propaganda is certainly of value to the Afrikan in this time. Rather than be subject to the mass communication of bogus messages deployed with ill-intent the Afrikan must create his and her own vehicles of communication enriched with the empowering truth of the world and the pinnacle place that Afrikan people hold within it. No longer will the Afrikan be blindly subject to the barrage of lies from the mess-media, the curricula of miseducation or contemporary religious doctrine designed to instil and maintain (at best) an inferiority complex. Afrikans must now take the helm of their own organised systems of life and communicate amongst themselves en-mass to realise the truth of the mighty nation of people they must again become.

The examples of great heroes throughout the ages must be highlighted (something that Garvey progressively advocates). He himself has become a magnificent example. As celebration rings out let the inspiration of the outstanding work of Marcus Garvey and the Garvey Movement continue to lift and inspire this wonderful people to their pinnacle status.

The Wake Up Call online is a vehicle of communication that has been inspired by Garvey.
