Celebrating the Great Afrikan History Continuum

The history of design for the primary and spirit people of creation could be an examination of pieces of their exceptional creative expression of which there is glorious abundance. From the smallest artifact to grand architectural design the brilliancy of such expression is replete throughout the ages of this soul people’s history. Naturally rooted in their way of pinnacle civilisation design mirrored, complemented, harmonised and was interconnected with their lived reality.  Indeed, their norm of self-determined life progression could itself be considered to be their design. Here, both superlative and enduring civilisation together with its expressed objects are of a history designed by the first-born people of humanity.

According to a contemporary mainstream source the term design history attracts the following meaning:

“Design history is the study of objects of design in their historical and stylistic contexts. With a broad definition, the contexts of design history include the social, the cultural, the economic, the political, the technical and the aesthetic”.

As objects that have been creatively designed necessarily have context from which they are creatively expressed - the contexts of the social, the cultural, the economic, the governmental, the technical and the aesthetic are also necessarily designed. Hence, the soul people of creation have their particular ways for their optimal life ascension and also their unique ways of creative expression.

But what of existence for Afrikan souls in a state of interruption and disruption? Here, Afrikans may be subject to context designed and peddled by others. If so, then the resultant objects of creative design can reflect that context and constructed to be the exclusive servants of those others whilst the norm of upright self-determined Afrikan living is neglected or worse.

To put it another way in question: How do Afrikan souls determine their social, cultural, economic, governmental, technical and aesthetic context in the now? If the answers to such a question reveal a deficit in self-determined constructive life design, then surely any outwardly expressed object of creative design also suffers from deficit.

This pragmatic and pioneering people of creation have been exceptional makers of history. The history they have designed throughout their continuum yielded the greatest and most enduring civilisations ever to exist.  As this people of soul have done, they can – and surely must – do as they design and make their history in their present and future unfolding. For this, restoration of knowingness of themselves is key for their recovery and upright progress. Each soul from whatever station, level or status can make a step of such progression. At the same time, souls can do themselves a great service in safeguarding against contaminants of ill, self-destructive wrongdoing and the like.

Civilisation is designed and built !
