Celebrating the Great Marcus Garvey and the Garvey Movement

Have
Afrikan souls become so ‘gassed up’ by the roles, certifications,
status positions, fame etc. ‘afforded’ to them by others? There can be
the tendency to abandon, deny or avoid living the Afrikan self of natural
progressive norm where all manner of excuses to not engage in the imperative
thrust for Afrikan self-betterment through nationhood can be expressed those
susceptible Afrikans who sit in stagnation awaiting victorious outcomes to
miraculously appear void of the self-determined participation, growth,
development and building effort necessary for said victory to materialise. In
this, the Afrikan person self, the harmonious complimentary Afrikan male-female
union, the Afrikan family, the Afrikan community, the Afrkan nation and world suffers.
Surely engagement in the imperative journey to Afrikan nationhood is imperative:
Engage in the imperative journey to nationhood, walk with your textbook of mainstream academia, but do indeed walk. As you carry your textbook undertake your Afrikan role of self-determination commensurate with your dynamic and acumen but journey with firm footing on the path of Afrikan ascension.
Engage in the imperative journey to nationhood, walk with whatever compelling profession you carry, but do indeed walk. As you carry your profession undertake your Afrikan role of self-determination commensurate with your dynamic and acumen but journey with firm footing on the path of Afrikan ascension.
Engage in the imperative journey to nationhood, walk with whatever compelling job you carry, but do indeed walk. As you carry your job undertake your Afrikan role of self-determination commensurate with your dynamic and acumen but journey with firm footing on the path of Afrikan ascension.
Engage in the imperative journey to nationhood, walk with your personal plan or engagement to acquire property or wealth, but do indeed walk. As you work to acquire personal property or wealth undertake your Afrikan role of self-determination commensurate with your dynamic and acumen but journey with firm footing on the path of Afrikan ascension.
The aim is not to provide an extensive list of examples but to illustrate the point that the independent time and effort Afrikans utilize for their own construction is how Afrikan building is victoriously manifest. By contrast, what Afrikan souls do for others is largely effort expended to aid alien nationhood. For the Afrikan, the status of a role in the ‘mainstream’ arena is established for reason and for the benefit of the ‘mainstream’. The role may or may not be of any explicit or direct use for Afrikan self-determined building. What is of central importance is the Afrikan person self and the living knowingness of self that person has and the effort that person makes for the self-determined victorious realization of Afrikan nationhood. Surely, it is the Afrikan rooted in living knowingness of self and a part of ordered construction that is equipped to best harness resource, learning, tools, skills from the ‘mainstream’ or otherwise for victorious Afrikan outcome.
The superlative visionary Marcus Garvey, emphatically and prophetically urged Afrikan souls of the world to:
“Organise now! Or Perish”
