Celebrating the Great Marcus Garvey and the Garvey Movement

The supreme
visionary Marcus Garvey sought to energise and bring to the fore the great
qualities of self-determined effort in Afrikan souls. The following utterance
of his are words that are of self-demonstrable inspiration, are challenging and
mission-compelling as directed to the Afrikan man:
“I can impress on you the fact that you can be a new man, a new race, if you use your [Creator]-given powers, you can excel in all things and overcome the evils of other men, and be what [the Creator] intended you to - happy, industrious and courageous. All that you see in creation, all that you see in the Universe are but the results of man’s power, when that power is fully appreciated, when that power is fully organized. The difference between people brings us to the point where one man, realizing himself and his power will stick stubbornly to the accomplishment of the task he set out to do, until he does it or attains his objective. That is the man or the personality which has used his objective power to bring within his grasp all that he needs. He is a beacon of light in our civilization and our world. He is the successful man on the hill-top, he is the prosperous man on the plains; he is the good citizen that everybody knows, and to whom everybody goes, he has used his power to help himself, and in turn he helps others”.
This great man committed his whole self to the betterment and uplift of an entire race who’s continual impact and powerfulness reverberates throughout the world in the now and on into the future. The great Marcus Garvey is a soul that prioritized the victory of Afrikan people at the pinnacle level. This is not a soul aloof or separate from the Afrikan at any level. This is a man produced by Afrikan souls, for the benefit of Afrikan souls that represented the rise of the very best in every Afrikan soul. This is an Afrikan man who envisioned and sought to make manifest the best in the Afrikan man in Afrika, in the islands, in the Americas, in Europe, wherever located.
Surely, Afrikan men can give Afrikan boys the demonstrable example of Garveyite masculine Afrikan manhood in all its divine prowess in the imperative thrust for victorious and ordered nation.
